New in Beauty: Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional

Considering Benefit Cosmetics is lacking in the primer department (aside from That Gal) it was only a matter of time before they hit the scene with a primer.

To my knowledge (and to my brain which is overflowing with way too many makeup facts and details) I can’t recall Benefit ever having a primer that targeted pores, can you?

Jump ahead for a little peep at the new Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional, corny name a gratuitous extra along with the jump!

What Benefits says about it:

Pores: Now you see ’em, now you don’t. This silky lightweight formula glides on seamlessly to instantly minimize the appearance of pores anytime, anywhere. Apply in the morning and touch up during the day for a smooth, refined, practically poreless complexion. PRESTO! No Pores!

The details read that it’s a balm which intrigues me because maybe I can actually get on board with it as I hate the feel of a silicone primer so maybe the keyword balm is all about the texture being smooth?

One can hope….

But sounds like it’s pretty much targeted at pores, which in my case aren’t visible, so perhaps this one isn’t for me sadly.

It’s available now from Ulta for $28.

Whatcha think?

Speaking of new beauty have you seen the Maybelline Salsa Sun Collection yet?

Hi there 🙂 I’ve been reading your (frickin awsome!) blog for months now, but have never commented- I love your reviews & just think you are the cutest thing- very sweet and honest, keep up the good work! As for Porefessional- my pores seem like they get bigger every year (I’m 28), so I’m def excited to see what this product can do!

Does Dr. Feelgood count? I bought it due to the cute tin and the sales girls told me to use it as a pore minimising base to foundation. Sadly it pilled and ended up in hiding in a drawer.
