Steal This: The Body Shop Facial Muslin Clothes Review
Hey there!
As we all know it’s semi-annual sale time right now (if you’re in the US) and all your fav shops are marking goodies down to rock bottom crazy prices so that YOU, the consumer, will haul ass to their stores and shop sales like the store is going out of business.
This is the best time of the year to get killer deals on stuff you’ve wanted all year but were good enough to wait for and hell at 50-75% off you can afford to take advantage right?
I’ve been keeping my hauling to a minimum since most of the stuff I’ve long since purchased and reviewed, sad sigh.
But I def got a good deal here and there which I’ll share with you in the next week or two. One of which are The Body Shop Facial Muslin Clothes!
Likey!
And a steal at $3 bucks!

During the Victorian Era, ladies of the ton used muslin for just about everything. Petticoats, dresses, curtains…etc…the cloth was most popular in the 17th century and later in life (around this time of the century) simply became mostly used as a facial cloth of sorts. The Body Shop Facial Muslin Clothes is a tri0 of three muslin clothes which you can wet and use on your face to clean with.
I have a soft spot in my heart for muslin clothes and use them alot during my facial cleansing regime. I like either lathering my face up and proceeding to use the cloth to wipe off my cleanser with or adding the cleanser to the actual cloth and wiping my face down with.
I find the clothes work best when used with cleansers that are foaming, cream, or milk but not oil cleansers of any kind.
The clothes are super soft and have a similar texture as linen does but not as soft. Each cloth in this particular package is about the size of a man’s handkerchief.
The clothes are completely hygienic and environmental friendly as you’re tossing them into your wash after a single use and reusing them again and again and again….
Noting bad to say here…
- “Green” friendly types, vegans, or environmental.
- Anyone who likes the idea of a super soft cloth they can use in the shower or at their bathroom vanity to aid in cleansing their face!
- Anyone who wants a steal (three will set you back $3 bucks during The Body Shop’s Semi-Annual Sale).
- Anyone not interested in adding some extra washing to their laundry!
I’ll be honest and say I don’t use these because they are cost effective or environmentally friendly, even though that’s a great reason to do so. I mainly use them as they aid delightfully in my skincare regime when I’m using a foaming or liquid cleanser. They are super soft on my skin and a great little addition to my skincare.
Likey.
Likey even more at this price.
They are available online for $3 (regularly $9) or in store.
Anyone use ’em?
Or use muslin at all?
