Eyeshadow that uses a basic color theory which contains a matte shade of shadow that directly contrasts with the color of your iris and a shimmering shadow that also matches the iris creating an eye-enhancing duo.

Although DuWop EyeCatcher Eyeshadows were created to match up certain shades with certain eye colors, I say they are gorgeous on any eye color!

Blue Eye Intensifier is a mix of amber and blue shimmer to compliment blue eyes. Green Eye Intensifier is a mix of burgundy and marbled green to flatter green eyes and Brown Eye Intensifier is a mix of matte violet and golden shimmer to bring out brown eyes. You can stick to matching up with your eye color or you can use any of the three shades with any eye color, that’s what I did!

Let me tell you, DuWop’s idea of a matte shadow is like nothing you’ve experienced before. The shades are so buttery soft and smooth quite like a creamy powder in some cases. Girls (and boys), I’ve never seen a matte that applies so beautiful and velvety smooth. The shimmering shade of the dual sided shadow is just as gorgeous formula wise. The colors are stunning shades with rich pigmentation and plenty of popping color pay off. The shades blend easily and leave behind a smooth silky finish and have a liquid metal finish on my eyes.

To use these you’ll be adding the matte shadow on your lid and blending up, after that you can stop with the shimmering shadow next, blending on top of the matte. Done! The shades mash together to create an interesting metallic finish.

The shadows apply easily and smooth on the lid beautifully well however they do have a fair bit of fall out that will need cleaning up after application.

  • Anyone who likes dramatic, highly pigmented eyeshadow.
  • Anyone who wants a flattering shade of shadow for their eyes (these make picking out a perfect shade for your eye color really easy).
  • Anyone who likes a metallic finish.

  • Anyone who can’t cope with fall out woes!

I have to say I was really impressed with these. The brown eye intensifier really did bring out my eyes and made them bigger while adding a fair bit of drama in. The formula is so lovely to work with and feels like butter. The pigmentation probably impressed the most as they have a really great color pay off. If you love dramatic eyeshadow, these will be something you NEED.
