Lancome Definicils Precious Cells Mascara Review
Is it me or does Definicils Precious Cells sound like something out of a Sci-Fi movie or some mad scientific experimentation that the government is working on at the moment?
It’s neither actually, it’s a mascara. Lancome Definicils Precious Cells Mascara is available exclusively at Nordstrom at the moment and is the first mascara from the brand that regenerates the condition of lashes with some plant-cell extract so lashes are longer, stronger, and conditioned.

A new mascara from Lancome that regenerates the condition of lashes with some plant-cell extract so lashes are longer, stronger, and conditioned.
Lancome Definicils Precious Cells Mascara performs very well and I think it’ll be suitable to those with shorter, stubbier lashes. The applicator is a straight line bristled brush with little bells and whistles, fine by me as some of these mascara now a days make me scared to use ’em for fear of poking an eye out.
Formula is pretty heavy in my opinion and quite thick, a little on the dry side. It builds up well and creates a nice fringe of long, full lashes.
Don’t expect to much in the way of curl, I find it’s best to curl lashes prior to add the extra curve. Formula feels a tad dry but doesn’t flake thankfully. The way I’ve read the description I expected a conditioning formula but that’s not exactly how my lashes feel. I get more of a stiff lash feeling which isn’t a bad thing really but I just expected lashes to remain soft due to the plant extract, etc….
- Lancome mascara lovers!
- Asian lashes or those with stubbier lashes should get nice results from this!
- Anyone who wants a full fringe of lashes and doesn’t mind lack of curl.
- Anyone who expects a softer fringe of lashes (this kinda gives the stiff, crunchy effect).
- Anyone who doesn’t like a dry mascara formula.
I find there are two types of Lancome mascara fans, those who are die hard lovers and those who aren’t really keen. I happen to fall into the not so keen category while my sister would kill for Lancome mascara. It’s a personal choice with Lancome really and I think fans will find the joy in Definicils Precious Cells and those who aren’t too keen probably might skip it for something else. I think it performed solidly and created a very nice set of long, fat lashes however I didn’t think it was something I’d kill for if I ran out of it.
Lancome Definicils Precious Cells Mascara is available now from Nordstrom.
