Laura Geller Tropic Hues Blush n Brighten Review and Swatches
MAC Stereo Rose really got us all worked into a foaming frenzy. Phew! That was a great run wasn’t it? If you failed to get Stereo Rose I do suggest grabbing Laura Geller Tropic Hues Blush n Brighten. It’s not Stereo Rose but it’s just as gorgeous and delicious and could possibly fill that empty void of missing out.

I know alot of folks are very disappointed that the Laura Geller Tropic Hues Collection sold out almost as soon as I posted about it a few days ago so I just wanted to break a few things down.
You can get on a waiting list for it however who knows when it’ll come in stock.
If you’re seriously desperate I suggest ordering the Blush n Brighten in the full size (you’ll want a full size, the blush is stupid gorgeous) and than ordering Laura Geller The Tropics Lipstick & Lip Gloss. At least you’ll get 3 of the four items included with the original set this way. It’s a little more to invest but if you have a strong lemming this is a possible suggestion to your woe.
Now ’nuff babbling…
You wanna hear about the the Tropic Hues Blush dontcha?
I already own this shade from the set but god is it ever gorgeous. I was a little worried they wouldn’t be able to capture the shade again in full size but it’s perfect. It’s one of Laura’s less pigmented Blush n Brightens however it still manages to give a warm glow to cheeks with swirls of coral, raspberry, pink, and bronze. By itself it gives cheeks a cool yet warm glow (weird but it contrasts beautifully and creates both a cooler, warmer look!) and on top of blush or a touch of cheek stain it imparts a shimmering glow.
Although shimmery in finish it can be delicately tapped on cheeks to avoid a disco ball effect while leaving behind a subtle kiss of sparkle.
If you missed out on Stereo Rose I do think that Tropic Hues will fill the void. It’s NOT a dupe but it’s such a stunning shade that it can easily make you forget Stereo Rose.
Delicious!
