Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream Swatches, Review, Photo

Hey there!

Even though I’ve reviewed the new Make Up For Ever Aqua Creams for you, I thought I’d update with some new swatches from other shades I recently indulged in.

Probably didn’t need this one as the shade is outrageous. It’s a golden tangerine that leans towards the neon orange realm. But I thought it would blend out nicely on my cheeks and perhaps create a bit of an outrageous 80’s look.

Reminded me so much of 5 that I had to have it. Deeper shade of golden coral compared to 5’s more peachy golden coral shade.

Again pretty outrageous shade of fuchsia but on my cheeks it blends out to a very nice, natural pink plus it’s water proof, sweat proof, and simply sticks around ALL damn day.

My big buggy brown eyes look great in this shade as it lends a certain mystery to my eyes, likey!

Not stopping here, must own all the Aqua Creams so I can rule the makeup world…..insert evil laugh here____________.

Which shades did you finally settle on?

Loving Aqua Creams?

Not so much?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I felt the same about the bright orange and pink! I bought them as well, I just couldn’t help myself!!

heather thank god there are other people around like me. hug please!

  • Dana

I bought # 10 and #14 and returned them after 2 uses. Since they are so pigmented you only need a little bit. So I put a little on my check and I can barely blend them. They just leave stain marks on my cheeks and major rubbing marks =(

    • the Muse

aw sorry to hear dana. best to dot on and blend out slowly building up!

Muse i own 14 too!! its great as a eyeliner and its perfect for my skintone!!! 7 looks like a great lip color (not so much as a blush)

I want to buy more but I just need to get enough money!!!

I hope you get to “catch them all” LOL

To be compleeetely honest, I wasn’t impressed when I went to swatch them at Sephora. I got excited reading reviews and looking at swatches online but it just didn’t do it for me :(. I’m loving the HD blush creams much more!

    • the Muse

hey peas just the opposite here 😀 like these better than the blush creams 😀 HATE that damn pump!

  • Shannon

Would love to see #14 on you as an EOTD or FOTD – also, I have oily lids that even primer can’t seem to control for long…so cream shadows are NOT my friend – would love to hear about how these hold up. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
