Morning!

Hope everyone had a long, restful weekend!

Shall we start the morning right with new offerings from the Tarina Tarantino Makeup Collection?

I think so!

Jump!

“Journey into a world that celebrates freedom to express your individual style. Collective conformity is never in fashion. Meet Starchild, a mystic DJ, as she leads a cosmic revolution. Join her on a fantastical odyssey through space and time. Travel on a crystalline craft, and marvel at the kaleidoscope of moving images outside your portal. Listen as the electro-galactic ear candy plays, all carefully chosen by Starchild, as you sleep and dream. You wake with a sense of wonder and happiness as you apply your metallic moonshadow and prepare for arrival.” XOXO, Tarina

Tarina Tarantino Starchild Odyssey Magic Hour Cream Shadow

Looks interesting doesn’t it?

The palette is a tad on the creepy side to be honest as when I think of Tarina Tarantino it’s more along the lines of eccentric kawaii overload with gothic underlay and this is anything but….interesting. I like the looks of the cream shadows however I’m left wishing they had more shade selection and I’m positively plenty of nail fan girls will be absolutely chuffed silly at the release of the polish.

What do you think?

I am always so put off by Tarantino’s stuff because it looks so .. tacky :x I have seen all the nail lacquers before but i am interested in the cream shadows.

Muse this a bit off topic but I just started reading your blog and have been hooked on Korean skin care and make up for a while now, and would just like to ask where do you get your collections from? I usually buy them off ebay (-_-) and although I find fair prices the shipping cost is insane. Does GMARKET work well for you?

      hi cate.

Naa gmarket I HATE. :-D haha I actually did a post about it a while ago and why I hate it :-D I have a friend in Korea who purchases for me and others in Japan, Singapore, Etc….they get me most of what I need and anything else is hauled from Sasa or occasionally E-bay. The jacked up shipping stinks on e-bay and online stores but when I am really wanting something I just take the plunge hehe!~

Aw well thank you for answering my question. I actually found a beauty shop in Chinatown (NYC) that sells Korean cosmetics w/o crazy prices for the most part.

I like the look of the palette and the polishes, but I agree–when I think Tarina I think pink gothic chic. I absolutely love TT, but I wouldn’t feel like I owned a piece of a TT collection with any of these…
