Armani Girl Megan Fox: Megan Fox New Face of Armani Cosmetics

Megan Fox is the new face of Giorgio Armani Cosmetics and will appear in a new ad campaign starting this year. Megan already has Emporio Armani underwear and Armani Jeans under her belt so this isn’t too new a venture for her.

A spokeswoman said: “Megan embodies the spirit of the women of today: free, confident and seductive. Her beautiful features reveal femininity, sensuality and strength.”

Aside from being a tad young (she’s 24) I think she’ll do well as the face of Armani. Megan reminds me of Bettie Page in some ways (not all ways as Dita Von Teese gets that award) and has a certain classy elegance.

I think it’s a yay for Megan Fox.

I’m quite eager to see the promotional images when they release!

What do you think?

Megan Fox as the new face of Armani Cosmetics?

Yay?

Nay?

If nay, who would you choose?

Off topic, but speaking of Dita Von Teese, I’d like to see her appearing in my makeup ads. Aside from MAC I don’t see Dita appearing in many this side of the country. Well, maybe not, I’d be broke buying everything she pimped out probably…..

hmm Love armani cosmetics but ok shes pretty and very old school glamorous but HER FACE LOOKS EVIL!!! something about her eyes….. 🙁

I bet the ads will be beautiful though can’t wait to see the new armani collection!

megan fox and “femininity, sensuality and strength” in one sentence?
oy vey. all i see is sleaziness and idiocy.

    it’s a nay from me.

  • Matryoshka Doll

I say the nay! I want this girl to go away, and I was hoping she would since she’s proven to be box office poison. Plus she’s been looking nipped and tucked lately. I think Giorgio Armani should have a classier spokesmodel.

I love Dita but I don’t she’d be right for a make-up campaign. She’s got a signature look which she won’t divert from so she’s not exactly flexible for a make-up campaign. I don’t think she’d let them do smokey eyes or nude lips for example. Plus I believe she said she only ever does her own hair and make-up. She could rock a fragrance campaign though.

    • the Muse

you’re right she has said that bora (btw how are you? missed ya!) and she does indeed have a very signature look so it would be difficult to get away from that as fans LIKE that look.

  • jones

yay – bout time she got a beauty contract, makes more sense than a fashion contract since she’s a lil too skinny to fill out a dress lol

  • Jenny

Oh I agree with you! If Dita was endorsing something I would be on it!!! 🙂

  • Brooke

I like Dita as well! Good call, Muse!
As for Megan…I’m not sure what to say. She is a pretty girl, but the first time I heard her speak I’ve disliked her….then I saw her thumbs and it was all over.

    • the Muse

dito is a goddess brooke 🙂 I don’t really mind her all that much tbh. I can think of 100 other celebs that annoy me more 😀

  • Snarky Sharky

She’s beautiful but she doesn’t have class. Armani makeup is very stylish, and the ads will be photoshopped to the point of her being non-recognizable but still.. I don’t know. Armani image is about someone like Cate Blanchett and Rachel Weisz, not Megan Fox.

    • the Muse

I wouldn’t mind Cat or Rachel Snarky Sharky 😀 good choices. I agree she is beautiful but she’s young, very hollywood, and an interesting pick for armani considering how classy they brand is 😀

  • Casey

    Nay.

She reminds me of a sleezy porn star – which is the only reason I think people find her so attractive. She has no talent other than looking good. I just get a bad vibe from her overall.. no idea why. I seriously laughed out loud when I read that she ’embodies the spirit of the women of today: free, confident and seductive. Her beautiful features reveal femininity, sensuality and strength.”

I think someone like Rhianna, with such a versatile look, would have made such a better spokeswoman.

I’m not that into Armani, thank god, so I won’t have to worry about seeing this every time I walk into a store. :p

  • Marina

I agree 100% with Snarky Sharky (cute name too). Cate would be wonderful. She’s the kind of person I imagine when I think of this kind of campaign.

  • jonnie

Ugh, ditto to what Casey said. I’d immediately walk away from any brand she was promoting for fear i’d have trashy sexyface look forever after. Why pick a talentless, trashy, phony, terrible actress for what’s supposed to be a classy brand?

    I adore Dita von Teese though… 🙂

  • kali

    NAY!

@ Casey.. she reminds me of a sleezy porn star too. I think they need someone with 100x more class. She’s a child. Don’t get me wrong, she’s a pretty girl but pretty does not make up for no class, no talent, and no brains.
