August 11th peeps that means we are nearly half way through the month and you, if you’re in high school or college, have probably already started shopping for your return to class.
Yay….heavy sarcasm on the yay there because most of you are probably groaning and dragging your butts to Target, Staples, and Walmart whining all the way. Sucks going back after all that time off doesn’t it? But hey embrace it! It’s the best time of the year to experience new beauty, skincare, cosmetics, and other bits and bobs.
Since I happened to be a broke as smoke college student at one time in my life I thought I’d do a Back to School Beauty and Cosmetic Budget Pick Series which highlights some great buys that won’t burst your bank account. I’ll be spotlighting cosmetics, skincare, and other fab little finds for those of you heading Back to School!
Jump ahead for my first pick and keep it tuned in for new finds daily to make Back to School easier and cheaper!
Heading back to college and your dank dormitory? Make the best of community showers with Caress Whipped Souffle White Peach Cream and Blackberry Cream Body Wash.
Honestly, I love me some Philosophy Shower Gels but at $16 bucks each your back to school budget might not be feeling them! The next best thing? Super luxurious body washes from Caress.
You can get these priced as low as $4 bucks for a 16.9 oz size at your local Target or Walmart (don’t forget to flip through the Sunday papers to see if they are on sale at your local drugstore or if any coupons pop up to save you a buck or two)! The washes are mega size so you can get quite a long use out of them plus they have a super luxurious formula that not only smells incredible but also gets your skin smooth and soft. The consistency is somewhat like a thick yogurt, heck after smelling White Peach Cream you might be tempted to eat it but please don’t, can’t have you hiccuping bubbles the first big day of school!
Caress Whipped Souffle Body Washes are available in Blackberry Cream, a cocktail of blackberry and vanilla essence, and White Peach Cream, a cocktail of with white peach and a blend of silk blossom. Although they have a fruity edge they also contain a fair dose of floral and vanilla notes which tames the fruit edge and creates a more sensual scent. As with most Caress Body Washes I find that the scent lingers a bit after use which is always a pleasant experience. They also work great as a shaving cream so you can get your legs smooth as you shave plus save yourself a buck or two by not purchasing separate products to shave with.
If you’re a fond lover of costly little body washes for your shower but simply can’t afford to indulge, Caress offers some nice inexpensive ways to feel luxurious without the heavy price tag.
A great back to school beauty buy thanks to its large size and small price tag!
