Dior Holiday Color Collection 2010: Dior Holiday Makeup Collection 2010

It’s warm outside but I’m ever so inclined to discuss Dior Holiday 2010 with you.

Ready for it?

Jump!

The release breaks down to include, much to my delight, the new Dior Miniaudiere ($80) which will be available in October. Interestingly enough Dior has two color selections available for the Miniaudiere. Not really exciting as we always get two color selections with these types of palettes HOWEVER in most cases the US gets one color release while Europe and Asia gets both. But this year you’ll see two color harmonies of Grey and Pink Tones available (Grey Golds, @ Saks) and (Pink Golds, Other Locations).

Of course, like many past palettes this pays a special tribute to Dior purses however this has a more vintage, elegant feel compared to past releases.

So if you were lemming the Dior Miniaudiere for yourself and were worried that it would be a European release only, have no fear, you’ll see it on counters in October.

The Dior Makeup Holiday Collection 2010 also includes the following:

  • Dior 5-Colour Eyeshadow in Five Golds #001
  • Dior 5-Colour Iridescent in Endless Shine #529
  • Dior Skinflash Radiance Booster Pen in Gold Edition
  • Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss in Pink Stiletto # 234
  • Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss in Black Lame #992 (Sephora Exclusive)
  • Dior Vernis in Czarina Gold #916
  • Dior Vernis in Timeless Gold #226

The shadow palette in Five Golds sounds like one I might be interested in purchasing. Ultra Gloss in Black Lame intrigues me as a vampy lip for Holiday is a tad unusual however maybe the color will not turn out to be black at all!

In addition to the color release Dior Holiday Palettes 2010 will arrive in October with a signature Cannage pattern. A tad bit boring if you already own many of the Dior Palette releases from seasons past however true, hardcore collectors may find the joy in these.

But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. The colours in the red palette look like my kind of colours. Can you recommend Dior?
    They sure sound pricey.

I like Dior Nia, they make some really nice stuff 🙂 really depends if you like higher end though as you can find mid range at likable prices.

Cannot wait to see the little purse palette! I agree with you about the cannage palettes but this time in red?! oh be still my beating heart… not that I’d get it but red is so sexy!
