JK Jemma Kidd Backstage Kit and JK Jemma Kidd Catwalk I-Kit

Fashion week is almost here!

Gasp! Already? Came damn quick this year didn’t it? I’ve been invited numerous times to head backstage for Fashion Week thanks to Musings but I’ve never been able to attend, this Muse has a day job to cover. Curious minds, but would you be interested in backstage coverage? I always get the vibe everyone is in it for the makeup around these parts and not so much who’s wearing what or the trend alert for Fall…but do let me know what you think!

Anyway…

Brace yourself for backstage with the new JK Jemma Kidd Backstage Kit or the JK Jemma Kidd Catwalk I-Kit.

Check it!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

What?! You’ve been invited to Fashion Week and you’ve never gone?! Shame on you! 🙂 I would kill to go. I have a friend going to FIT and interning for a fashion PR in New York and she’s always telling me to come visit and she’ll get me into the shows. Someday I’ll do it. To me, fashion and makeup go hand in hand.

    • the Muse

lol sarah. 😀 I honestly don’t find it relates to readers and what they come here for which is why I never bothered 😀 but always curious if anyone would be interested in reading coverage on the events 😀

Do it girl 😀 it’s fun!

Why is everyone on the neutral bandwagon? I know, I know, a trend. I love color and crazy stuff–and have been wearing long before it was “trendy” and will keep on keeping on. Those are really nice, but I want UD Naked. However, I won’t say no to these on sale, as a present, etc

    • the Muse

storm I was always OFF the neutral bandwidth now I can’t get enough haha!

I just look washed out in a lot of neutrals, unless I do a heavy liner so that is has a retro feel to it. (Drake, not Square and bonus points if you tell me the movie!) I love neutral colors in looks, just not as the look itself. I;ve been hauling out the UD BOSII to use Sellout. I really do like the color, but it isn’t an all over color for me. And if I show up in a neutral eye, without the whole retro thing, people want to know what is wrong with me. Am I sick? Is someone dead? Did I lose my contacts and glasses and not know I had makeup??

You’ve been invited to FW and NEVER gone??? GAAAAASP. I would kill to go!! I will go, someday, either as someone who views or someone who shows 🙂 Like Sarah said, fashion and makeup go hand in hand.

    • the Muse

true marron they do indeed ;-D I think it’s unspoken if you take up on the invite you should be discussing it on your blog and readers come around here for makeup not so much the fashion…but always curious how reader’s would think about the coverage 🙂

  • kiwikiwidragon

Mmm, these look really nice….I might have to splurge on these as long as they aren’t made in cheap-o china, but they proabably are given the price point. Do you know Muse if Jemma Kid normally manufactuers their products in china?

  • Miss D

Muse, you MUST go to Fashion Week…even if you don’t come back here and report to us about it. Think of going as a chance to expand your experiences!!!
Of course, if you want to give us a mini report, then by all means please do!
    Loads of hugs! 🙂

    • the Muse

hey miss d. maybe one day 😀 Sadly I can’t just pick up and leave my office to run on its own hehe! but perhaps one day I’ll make the time for it for sure 😀 could prove fun!
