Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper MAC Viva Glam Make Up Bags

Please see full details and high res images by clicking here.

Blame Gaga for the incredible success and quick sell out of MAC Viva Glam this year. It was an utterly unwearable shade of nude pink in my opinion but it was one of the quickest shades to sell out in recent years of Viva Glam for me.

And to think I was all about Cyndi’s shade rather than Gaga’s!

Hardcore fans might be interested to know that MAC Viva Glam Make Up Bags for both Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper will be released shortly.

Jump!

Starting September 2nd, MAC Viva Glam Make Up Bags fashioned in the shape of lips featuring Gaga and Cyndi’s signatures will be available for purchase. As will all Viva Glam releases, 100% of the proceeds will benefit the MAC Aids Fund.

I’m guessing we all need to run, not walk, not skip, to our nearest counter because these will sell out mighty quickly!

Have you consumed today’s ?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I am actually NOT a fan of these bags…it’s cute and all b/c it’s in the shape of lips but…not very practical, and I’m sure the prices are going to be amazingly outrageous too.

I mean it’s great that MAC donates this to AIDS research, but part of me is kind of like…how much are they benefiting in the business point of view for this anyways. Maybe I’m just being cynical right now O_o

I think 32 lilac. I don’t mind too much as it’s a great cause but I’m not in love with the shape/stype either 🙂

  • tangerinelatte

Hmmm. I don’t think the bags are all that cute, really. Haha

    • the Muse

mm not really tangerine guess it’s the name mostly that appeals to fans!

Oh! I would totally buy the Cindy bag, but I’m sure I won’t have extra money to spare on it. 🙁

  • dangster

I wouldn’t mind paying extra for the bag if it’s going to research. And it’s Lady Gaga. Especially if it’s Lady Gaga, lol.

Hell, last night I went to go see Lady Gaga at her concert in San Jose–$200 for my ticket! But Lady Gaga says that part of the ticket cost goes to a charity helping homeless youth, so I’m more than happy to have paid that 🙂

aw dangster Lady gaga is def a giving one 😀 she’s pretty awesome in my book b/c of that!

  • Sarah

These are such a letdown ;( I was hoping it would be more cute like the promo pics of Gaga & Cyndi, like a lacy lingerie print and pearls with kisses all over! I think its kinda weird to carry around a big pair of lips!

i’m thinking of getting Viva Cyndi. Viva Gaga looks like a blue-pink to me, best worn by alabaster skinned blondes.
