Lancome French Coquettes Collection: Lancome Fall Collection 2010
Although a French Coquette sounds like something you’d purchase at a posh bakery, it’s not. You can’t technically eat or make a sandwich with a coquette, sorry.
A coquette is a tease or a flirt of some sort which is exactly what Lancome French Coquettes Fall Collection 2010 is all about. Flirty, tantalizing shades of shimmering shadows and subtle highlights on cheeks, makes for an elegant, sophisticated, yet fun collection.

If old world French Glamour is your thang, French Coquettes should appeal! Made up of deep plums, shimmering charcoals and sophisticated nudes this collection teams with both softer and vibrant shades of color for Fall 2010.
Beloved Lancome spokesmodels Daria Werbowy and Elettra Wiedemann make their first joint appearance in the ad campaign, shot by Mario Testino. I get a bit of a French flapper feel from the promo images, don’t you?
Some of the star products include the Lancome La Rose Deco, a multi-color powder compact for subtle radiance, Lancome Ombre Magnétique, a gel-like shimmery eye shadow that can go on lightly for a touch of shimmer or heavier for full-on drama and Lancome Le Vernis Nail Trio “Kissed By Paris,” a set of three mini polishes.
Both the powder and the new Lancome Color Design Limited Edition Sensational Effects Eye Shadow Quad in French Touch are highly appealing to this Muse. I’m in love with the Ombre Magnetique as well but one wonders if they are just the typical run of loose pigments however the shade Cherry doesn’t look easily duped by any of MAC’s pigments.
