OMG i need Only You. besides it has orgasm blush in a palette again, the color selection is just amazing! so sad we don’t have nars in brazil/they don’t ship to here. gotta live with ebay retailiers and overprice. but i need it. 🙁

    • the Muse

i’m with ya tais 😀 loving that one!

aw sorry to hear it sigh!

  • Larie

that Only You palette looks very, very tempting…i need to stop looking at all of these things!

  • Nia

Hmm, if they put another blush than the ever-present Orgasm I might think about it. And I already have Eurydice… Hmm.. I think not.

    • Marie

I totally agree. Nars has tons of great blushes, but they always use Orgasm. They might think it’s an incentive to buy but for me it’s doing the opposite!

      • the Muse

marie as hardcore nars fans, for shiz. we already have orgasm overly done I’m betting 😛 I guess they try to market to a new audience. Urban Decay is guilty of the same. But it only alienates those of us who are fans and have these shades 😛

        • Marie

I think you’re absolutely right about them trying to appeal to the newcomers. :p

I wish they’d be more “ballsy” and not rely on bestsellers, but rather put on the forefront some underrated shades.

          • the Muse

I agree Marie. That would actually be fantastic for those of us who already own a majority of the catalog. Even new, exclusive shades are a welcome for me. I’m not easily irritated by rerun shades as I’m a general palette lover no matter what but UD can rehash to the max at times and not only NARS but many companies are guilty of the same 🙁

I can understand the marketing technique as it has to haul in good money when it comes to converting someone new to the brand however there are plenty of older fans that are willing to dish out cash for new fans. It’s a double edged sword.

          • Nia

So second that. Maybe the could even bring back some discontinued shades?!
A lot of people love NARS blushes, so there must be more than one good colour 😉
And if people buy a NARS blush 99.8% buy Orgasm anyways.

I was excited at first but realized that the first one contained powder and lipstick which I can’t stand! I hate a bunch of eyeshadow and blush “powder” to get stuck in the lipsticks. I’ve had other great NARS palettes that had the same problem and I ended swapping/selling every single one.

As for the 2nd, it looks nice but I already have I think 3 of the eyeshadows. And I don’t like the blush shades. Total bummer for me. =( NARS hasn’t had the greatest palettes lately.

    • Marie

Actually, the first one (beautiful life – for the lips/cheeks) doesn’t contain powder and lipstick, but multiple (soft creamy texture) and lipstick.

      😉

      • kali

I just realized it right now -for whatever reason, I thought it was a mix of the Multiple with powder products (like the 15th Anniversary palettes.)

First one is a bummer since I own most the shades but 2nd is alright -not a big fan of NARS lipsticks & Multiples when they’re pressed -from my experience, the quality isn’t as good.

And why must NARS add Orgasm to every palette???? There was a time when I had 4 Orgasms (LOL that sounds so funny) but seriously, how could I ever use up 4??

        • the Muse

kali four orgasms is never a bad thing…particularly when they are multiples….god I couldn’t resist.

  • spifftiff88

I don’t own ANY NARS and the eye and cheek palette looks amazing to start with!

  • Petra

Don’t have Nars available in Hungary (sadly), so I don’t know if this is usual from Nars, but I’m really loving that they made a seperate palette for the cream and powder products. If I could grab either one, I would (hence I haven’t yet been able to try Nars and I’m lusting after the multiples, some certain eyeshadows -the ones Lollipop26 uses lol- and the Pleasures of Paris palette. The list keeps growing :))

  • LorraineER

Hmm..if the blush colors from the Beautiful Life palette were with the shadows from the Only You palette I’d have to have it 😉
