Tarina Tarantino Dollskin Eye Primer and Tarina Tarantino Pearl Glow Eye Primer

Tarina Tarantino continues to impress with her Sephora Collection by introducing two new eye primers. Rather delightful how updated they are keeping this collection considering Kat Von D own collection only gets seasonal revamps. Since it’s release Tarina’s line has seen updates three to four times already with a few limited edition pieces thrown in the mix of things.

Eye primer junkies may be interested in her new primers!

An everyday eye primer with a smooth, matte finish and ingredients proven to reduce the appearance of fine lines. This universal base contains amazing hydrating ingredients known to reduce the appearance of fine lines, giving your eyes a flawless “dollskin” surface. Incredible alone or as a base, this primer complements the natural color of a diverse array of skin tones. It brightens the dark areas of eyes and leaves lids with a matte, even finish.

An eye primer that captures the light of a thousand crushed pearls, giving eyes a magical, lustrous glow. This amazing formulation is modeled after one of Tarina’s favorite face products: Pearl Glow Primer. The ingredient known as mica creates its iridescence, making Pearl Glow Eye Primer a terrific base for eye makeup while adding a little sparkle to your look. Can be worn alone to give eyes a subtle shimmer, or under any eye color to create a brighter, sparkling undertone.

I honestly don’t need more primer in my life since my beloved UDPP does the trick but count me curious about both of these. I will be purchasing and reviewing for you, call it morbid curiosity, but I must have me some Tarina Eye Primer…..the Pearl one sounds the most interesting.

Whatcha think?

Prob don’t need, but still want?

I always wanna try new primers despite my udpp doing an amazing job all these years, but the pearl one has my attention. Might pick it up out of curiosity, and knowing it most likely won’t measure up.

ditto maggie. UDPP gets the job done but I’m always curious to try something else 😀 The pearl one looks nice for a cream eye shadow as it has a pink sparkle to it, maybe not as a primer but as a sparkle shadow, that could work 😀

I’m just starting to get into eye primers. They’re so expensive.

Honestly…I want pink hair like hers. LOL I’ve always had a thing for pink hair ever since Gwen Stefani had it years ago!

I swatched these today at Sephora-they look lovely! But I wonder if they’re as good as UDPP?

curious myself tracy….! how did the pearl one swatch, pink sparkle?!

Hmm… I just don’t see the need for shimmery eye primers. I want something that will create a nice matte smooth base and staying power for my shadow and if I want shimmer I can add it, ya know? Plus I have oily lids so that may be part of why I don’t dig pearl-y eye primer.

mm def lorraine, logical for sure! I tried Smashbox’s bronzey one for Summer and hated it. Kinda a pointless product 😛
