Jane Iredale Eye Steppe

Jane Iredale stepping up its game and taking a tiny note from Le Beaute de Metier with the new Eye Steppe Shadow Compacts.

Take a look!

These tiered compacts feature five shades of eyeshadow that have been handpicked by Jane to flatter brown, green, or blue eyes. Taking away from the guess work of selecting shades best suited to your eyes. However, I must say, I’m a strong believer that anyone can wear any shade they choose.

I think part of the appeal of the palettes is the interesting tier design allows you to travel easily with an entire eye look wardrobe although I have to say at $56 these do not come cheap, ouch!

The Eye Steppe compacts come in the following shade selections:

  • goBrown includes Sea Green, Blue Sky, Tan, Forest and Licorice
  • goGreen includes Allure, Iris, Sepia, Slate and Grape
  • goBlue includes Oyster, Rosy, Taupe, Swiss Chocolate and Smoke

Interesting concept, neat design, but the price does need a little work to get my lemming on.

Available from Nordstrom.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’m with you! I believe that anyone can wear most any shade they like. I know it all comes down to what you pair it up with. Neat set up, but yeah definitely a tad expensive.
