Jordana Neon Alert Collection Jordana Bright Eyes Eyeliner Review

My offerings to the Makeup Gods have simply not been enough and I’ve possibly pissed them off because on a recent foray through Walgreens I came across a very empty display of the new limited edition Jordana Neon Alert Collection. That display was so empty it was whistling.

And is it any wonder as it’s cheap as day old chips and has some really killer offerings!

Check it!

The display features several shades of Jordana Baked Eyeshadows in vibrant shades and matching Bright Eyes Eye Liner and I basically FAILED at picking up any of it.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a single shade of the Jordana Bright Eyes Eyeliner in Orange, Yay I can embrace the orange hued lid look now, but all else was gone.

Zip, zero, NADA!

If you’re wanting it, head over to Walgreens maybe you’ll be luckier than I was.

The liners are $1.99 and the shadows are $2.99.

The one liner I picked up was quite subdued color wise and not nearly as neon as I was hoping for but for two bucks I’m not complaining. It has a decent formula and leaves behind a nice subtle orange on the lash line however it’s not as creamy as I like and involved a bit of tugging to get into place. But regardless, as I said, for the price I’m not ranting.

If I can find the rest of the collection, I’ll happily haul as it looks quite cute for it’s price tag and maybe the shadows are a bit better quality than the liners.

This isn’t my typical review really but just wanted to give you a little heads up about this collection and see if you can find it at your local drugstore. Might be worth checking out.

I know I want to locate more of it!

Anyone see it at their Walgreens?

Haul it?

Do share!

I snagged two shadows and they swatch about the same pigmentation as my better milani shadows.I have yet to wear them though so I’m not sure how they will last or show up on lids.

Awh- I hope they restock and you get your chance! BTW I wanted to ask you a question- could you possibly recommend something for me? I am looking for a good dark brown chubby eyeliner. I used to have one that was amazing but I don’t remember who made it. I got it from QVC- it was dark brown thick liner pencil with a smudger on one end and the outside of the pencil was baby blue. It gave a great smudgeable thick line that really lasted and I want something like it again. I’ve been looking online & not gotten anywhere.

I have the liner and shadow in pink and believe me, was I dissapointed. It was more sheer and conventional than I wanted it to be. I guess it’s Sugarpill’s Dollipop and MAC’s Magenta Madness instead.

I was luckey to get one of everything from the collection. I actually wore the pink as a blush and LOVED it. The colors are okay for the price. When I wear it with my ELF primer its much better.

I got three of the liners, the pink-purple-orange ones. I use them as lip liners for my brighter lipsticks/glosses. I looove the pink one under Viva Glam Gaga, and the purple one under the Milani lip flash pencil in the purple shade. I don’t care much about them for eyeliners, though. But the waxy texture makes them work really good on my lips. 🙂
