Juicy Couture Peace, Love & Juicy Couture Eau de Parfum

Juicy fans gather around as the newest fragrance from Juicy Couture has recently launched.

Have you smelled it yet?

Jump!

I’m a fine fan of Juicy Couture fragrances so I was ever so excited about Juicy Couture Peace, Love & Juicy Couture Eau de Parfum’s release. All of Juicy’s fragrances fall in the realms of my ideal fruity, floral scent. I absolutely love them and adore the bottles they come in.

Now Juicy Couture Peace, Love & Juicy Couture I knew would be different as it contains alot of greener notes however call me completely naive as I didn’t think it would be so different that it would be unrecognizable from Juicy’s prior three fragrances.

As per its name “Piece, Love…” it definitely rules in the realms of more of a earthy, peace loving scent. Notes of lemon-tree blossom, wild hyacinth, sweet apple accord, black currant bud absolute, sambac jasmine absolute, star magnolia, Malibu poppy, honeysuckle, linden blossom and a dry down of orris extract, sheer patchouli flower, enveloping musks makes this scent a very different, very earthy, very green blend.

I’ve only sniffed it in store but so far I’m unsure if I like it and did feel somewhat shocked it didn’t lean more towards Juicy’s signature sugary floral concoctions.

It’s very different for Juicy that much is true. If you’re a lover of greener scents this should appeal but don’t go in believing this will smell like every other Juicy Coture Fragrance you’ve come to know and love because I do believe you might be disappointed.

I guess I have to explore it a bit more but so far my initial thoughts are, “what!?”

Have you smelled Juicy Couture Peace, Love & Juicy Couture Eau de Parfum?

I’ve been meaning to sample Peace Love and Juicy since I read about it last month but haven’t had the time. I too am a huge Juicy perfume fan (I own the previous 3 and Couture Couture is one of my signature scents). I should go check it out today while I’m out lol.

mc really curious what you think. You might be shocked if you’re a fan as this is REALLY different!!!!!!

I smelled it a few days ago and DID NOT like this one. It is very green and earthy and …kinda gross. I love Viva la Juicy and like the other two JC but this one is a definite dislike. I wouldn’t even spray it on my arm. i love a lot of different perfumes–woodsy, oriental, floral, sweet. I can’t quite describe why I dislike this one so much–that heavy top green note I believe. Anyways, sniff and judge for yourself! The bottle and accessory on it is gorgeous.

I have read that this one has a very big ‘ode to Cristalle’ so I can’t wait to sniff this!

    • the Muse

hmm Jo…I didn’t get Cristalle from it so much. I might have to have a re-sniff and compare ;-D

I smelled this and I kinda like it. It reminded me of a friends home back from my childhood. I used to go to her place and play with her toys. Her Dad was very rich and she had the best toys…lol!
Thats the beauty of Fragrance…Its so subjective.

Oh I love Juicy Couture so much and from the way you described this has me interested! I love more green/earthy scents and I’m glad they decided to give us something new! Can’t wait to hiff!

  • Laura

I love green and woody fragrances. Cristalle is my go to perfume. This is alot like A Scent by Issey M. Nearly the same
I’d buy it if I didn’t already have a bunch of perfumes Just like it

I’m usually a big fan of Juicy’s fragrances but this one made me want to gag, it’s definitely different for them. I wanted to like it 🙁

    • the Muse

I did too kelly. I only tried a brief sniff in store and I’m not sure it’s me at all. Very un-Juicy 🙂

I was NOT a fan of Juicy Couture perfumes until this one. I sprayed today for the first time, and I definitely smell the patchouli flower! I like the “green” smell, it really works with my body chemistry! This one might be making it into my perfume stash soon! I’m planning to get Britney Spears’ original “Curious” perfume. Found it for $17 at Winners (Canada’s version of Marshall’s), and it smells yummy on me!
