Sephora Color Wand For Lips

So let’s not write off Sephora’s Cosmetics Collection just yet.

I know, I know. I rant about it constantly but Sephora Cosmetics and I have a special love/hate relationship. We’re cool like that.

For example I really like the Sephora Color Wand For Lips…..

Glutton for punishment?

Possibly.

Check it!

It’s six mini lip glosses joined together in an one wand. What’s not to like? It’s SIX glosses people!

You choose a color and twist and the applicator reveals the shade of your choosing. From what I can understand it’s only one brush applicator which could make things messy but….mmm I still wanna try.

The gloss is mango scented and flavored and the wand has its own small jar for storage.

Merely $10 bucks too!

Plus one is named after me, yes I think I need at least that one right?

Shades Available:

  • Nymph

(clear gloss, light pinks and peaches)

  • Siren

(medium pinks, nudes, and berries)

  • Muse

(light nude to bright tangerine to deep plum)

Available now Sephora.

Whatcha think?

We probably don’t need this but it’s too cute not to try it!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

For $10 I’ll stick one of these in my bag for the days I forget to grab my lipstick or gloss for touchups!

  • peri

i dont think it looks like theres only one applicator. it kinda looks like theres an applicator at the bottom of each one feeding into the next one. but thats just what it looks like to me. i could be wrong, its been known to happen lol. it looks cute though. im going to the mall today, if they have these in store, ill pick one up cause its cute. 🙂

    • the Muse

peri I’m not sure but I hope so. the descriptions reads as if it’s one! it would be messy with one!!!!!!! if you find it lmk the quality ;-D curious!

  • knownever

The packaging idea is pretty outstanding, but i would definitely be hesitant to purchase because i have had some bad experiences with sephora glosses before. As in, their glosses smell like burnt plastic.

    • the Muse

hi knownever I’ve had plenty of bad experiences with Sephora makeup in general, can relate 🙂

  • HautePJ

I like the price tag and I applaud their efforts to create unique packaging, but I agree the look borders on juvenile. But I’ll prob still haul it, LOL. Friends and family can’t come soon enough!

    • the Muse

lol pj! itis but that doesn’t stop me ;-D cuteness rules my makeup world at times!

  • auroragyps

Looks like a great Stocking Stuffer to the tween/teen girls in your life or a great Secret Santa gift for a woman that likes makeup.

  • Ryou

I agree, this would be nice to stick in your purse for touch-ups. I can get lazy (or forgetful — hamsterbrain) to switch the gloss in my to-go make-up pouch.

And I tend not to touch up THAT often, perhaps only once or twice throughout the day. For $10, why not? 8D

  • chibicheeks

I think peri is right about the applicators. If you look at the one that has a clear shade at the bottom, you can see the applicator in it too!

  • Heather / Eyeconic

I was just at Sephora earlier and they definitely didn’t have these, I would have gotten them if they did! I am such a sucker for gloss, maybe because it’s the hardest makeup product for a company to screw up?

    • the Muse

heather you might eat your words girl! LOL ;-D I’ve seen companies make massive mistakes with gloss dude!

  • electronicfly

I think that is a great idea! I usually get too lazy/forgetful during the day to reapply my gloss, so one fullsized tube usually last quite some time for me. With this I can at least have the variety without wastage 😀

Not that wowed by the price though, since there’ll probably be kinda little product in each tube..

    • the Muse

for my purse I don’t mind electronicfly place price wise at 10 bucks I’d say you get at least a full size lipgloss from the several shades if that makes sense 😀

      • electronicfly

        I think coz for me it’s $10 x RM3.4 + S&H = >RM40 per stick =/ Gah I can’t wait until I can save enough for a shopping trip to the US!

          • electronicfly

I hope you’ll still be around then, coz they way I spend I think I can only get there in 2918402174921749021 years T.T But yeaaaa NYC is gonna be my first stop, since I have relatives there 😀

          • the Muse

hehe I know that feelin’ electronic ;-D awesome! you can stay with them, more money for makeup if you do haha!

    Concerning the applicator
Sounds to me like each has its own applicator…
    From Sephora website:

What else you need to know:
Each lip gloss features a delicious mango scent
***>>and has its own small jar and doe foot brush applicator.<<<***
Its super slender size and gift tag makes it a perfect gift or stocking stuffer.
