Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers Magic Gloss Review, Swatches, and Photos
Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers Magic Gloss how sweet are you? Playing at being a little dupe of Smashbox O-Gloss are you?
A buck, seventy nine can get you a tiny little tube of this limited edition gloss from Wet n Wild that promises you that perfect shade of just you lipgloss.
Yeah well, that body chemistry, “perfect” shade of you gloss has been a little overdone lately but hey this is budget friendly, we can all handle the under $2 buck price tag right?
I say buy it! Hell, buy two! I love it.

A gloss that promises the perfect shade of pink!
Ok, let’s talk about it some MORE because the topic hasn’t been incredibly overdone already.
Lip changing glosses simply don’t work and don’t think you’re paying $1.79 for this and getting the perfect shade of pink because you won’t. So don’t expect that.
However……………
If you want a really nice gloss at a really friendly budget price, get this, you’ll be happy you did.
It has a nice thick, glossy formula that wears quite long. I liked the formula alot and felt it was somewhat but NOT the same as Too Faced Mirror Mirror Gloss since it imparts a very high, glossy finish. It does run thicker so if you aren’t keen on thick glosses you may wish to skip however those with thinner lips or those who like a fuller lip look will find this is gorgeous for giving your lips that full, plump look due to the thick consistency of the gloss.
The shade?
A very, very, very subtle pink. So subtle in fact it’s almost clear. Personally I felt it enhanced the shade of my own natural lip color however it didn’t add anything to them. The color does change very slightly from clear to pink but you really have to get out a magnifying glass to take note. I took two swatch photos of it, you can see in the second photo that it turns pink very, very, very lightly.
It’s such a tiny size! The tube is about three times smaller than a typical gloss tube. It looks like a little sample. I’m kinda glad I grabbed two of them since I like the gloss so much I can probably go through an entire tube in a month. I highly suggest dishing out a fiver and just grabbing two rather than one since the smaller size is a tad disappointing! You can see in the photo below next to a full size gloss versus the size of the Magic Gloss, tiny eh?
- Anyone who wants a cheaper gloss that gives lips a fuller look.
- Anyone who wants a tiny dash of pink that enhances their natural lip color!
- Anyone with little pigment in their lips wanting a gloss that will give them a nice dash of color (this is too subtle to color lips dramatically).
- Anyone expecting a perfect shade of pink lipgloss (forget it, you won’t see any perfect pinks here).
I loved it. It has quirks yes but the gloss formula is outstanding for the price and it works a treat for tossing in my bag as a touch up gloss. No, it doesn’t come across pink or perfect but it does give my lips a nice high glossy sheen and just the right little bit of color to make them look natural and fresh plus hey I paid $1.79 for this stuff, love that!
Muse Approved for purchase!
I got mine at Harmon’s but any drugstore that carries Wet n Wild should have a Halloween display with this on it.
