Cle de Peau Beaute Announces Amanda Seyfried as New Spokesperson

Cle de Peau Beaute announced today that actress Amanda Seyfried is the new global spokesperson and “face” of the cosmetic and skincare luxury line. Her first appearance for the brand will be for the Spring 2010 champaign which will be shot by British photographer, David Sims and makeup by Lucia Pieroni, Cle de Peau Beaute’s Color Creator.

Amanda is a naturally beautiful girl right up there with the likes of Zooey Deschanel and Natalie Portman. I think that the brand made a good, solid choice as she has a certain expression of elegance about her looks that’s both natural and striking.

What do you think?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I dunno how I feel about this… I have nothing against her, but cle de peau’s image strike me as more mature, more elegant.
    just my opinion 🙂

After buying Cle de peau eyeshadow for $55, which I discovered doesn’t come in a case ($40 more for a plastic case, please), I don’t really care who they hire for their new face.

Really, talk about ripping off the consumer.

From now on I will be sticking to my old brand.
