Lady Primrose Tryst Kiss Blotting Papers in Compact

I consider myself a bit of a tomboy in some ways but lord knows I love pretty things and that’s all about being a girl. I’m also a fond lover of collecting vintage Victorian and art deco vanity pieces. Some of my collection is worth quite a good deal of cash and wanting other pieces only adds to that large tab.

Which is why, for a very long time, I’ve been a fan of Lady Primrose. Speaking of pretty things…..

Lady Primrose has graced my vanity for a good number of years and although prices can be higher up it’s not nearly the amount you’d spend at auction for antique vanity pieces plus the fragrances that the brand launches are an incredible extra. I’ll be telling you more about the brand very soon but today I thought I’d do a brief review of their blotting paper.

Take a look!

Oily or not everyone needs a little blotting paper. My skin is dry but I still carry around blotting paper for my forehead as it does tend to become shiny even on less than warm days. To remove excess shine and get skin looking considerably less shiny, blotting paper is an essential item to tuck in your purse!

Love the Lady Primrose Tryst Kiss Blotting Papers! Why? The gorgeous case they come in! Lady Primrose fills the case with 75 blotting sheets but the compact is what makes this such a gorgeous little purchase. It’s a weighty slim lined mirrored compact in pink which you can use to stash away blotting papers or credit cards, your license, or even cash. Personally I like carrying blotting papers in it since pulling it out of my purse isn’t any great chore and it just looks pretty for touch ups in the powder room on the fly!

The price tag isn’t too friendly at $28 with 75 Sheets of Blotting Paper but it’s one of those things I can overlook because of the pretty packaging.

Sweet right?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. once its used up do you think we can add other blotting papers to it? it almost looks like the same size as the clean and clear ones

You could also use the case as a very chic business card holder once you run out of blotting papers. I know that’s not the point but I really like the case.

I received one of these from my boss for Christmas and she had the mirror engraved, “You look Fabulous!”
    Great gift idea!
