Over the weekend I purchased the Urban Decay Black Palette. I am fascinated with the dark colors. I also bought two nail polishes from Sephora: one black and one dark glitter overlay. Looks like I am bringing out my inner rock star!

Calming effects skin revival foundation, it’s a revamp of the old calming effects. I haven’t tried it yet, but at least the colour match is perfect this time. The foot cream is really gorgeous, I’m still trying not to eat it :D

I went on a bit of a Stila spree without intending to… haha. I finally ordered the Moscow palette and a shadow duo and got a free pearl shimmer gloss (and free shipping!) thanks to a lovely Happy Hour deal. Then I went to Urban Outfitters later this weekend and ended up leaving with no clothes but even more Stila… the summer lip glaze sets (50% off!) and a new travel palette in Floral Chic.

L’oreal True match foundation, after using Revlon Colorstay for a while it was just becoming to harsh and thick feeling on my skin. True match feels so much better and matches my skin better.

Also Maybelline Falsies, it was half price so I picked it up not expecting much but I LOVE it!

Hi Musey =) went to a CCO this weekend, bought MAC Perfect Topping MSF, it’s really nice to use as a highlight and i’ve been using it as an all over wash of color on my eyelids as well. very happy to have found it. i wanted to try a couple of MAC concealers, so i picked up the Studio Touch-Up Stick Corrector, which was a fail unfortunately. got the moisturecover and it wasn’t that impressive either! still looking for a great concealer especially for my scarring on my cheeks. my fav buy was definitely my trio of lipsticks and a lipgloss from MAC from the Baby Blooms collection. and a buttload of stuff from ELF-try the Complexion Perfection powder, it’s nice!

Picked up my go to eyeshadow for boring days when I’m too lazy to do much makeup: covergirl eyeshadow in champagne. It’s a nice very subtle gold shimmer that creates a nice neutral look for daytime. When applied over black eyeliner it turns the black into a really neat silver/blueish/gunmetal color that I love. Boring buy, but totally one of my go tos.

I really like their line, I have some seriously eye allergies and their stuff don’t bother me at all unlike most other cosmetic brands.

So when’s the muse gonna drop the deets on theJewlry Box? I’ve actually seen it on youtube, some lucky person already got their from Sephora, though it’s not showing up online yet.

    Hey Muse,

hope you enjoyed your long weekend. I made two random impulse
purchases that actually paid off. I came home and looked up reviews of both and they are rated pretty well on blogs! I wonder if you’ve used them?

I got the rimmel moisture renew in vintage pink (hated the scent but loved the muted mauve tone) and the maybelline eye studio gel liner. I used liquid mostly but couldn’t resist trying gel (finally). I really like the eyeliner, I’d be interested in knowing what you think of it?

It’s not a new product, but I picked up NARS Bad Education gloss. Red lipsticks and glosses always scare me because I am very fair and they always make me look crazy. This gloss is the perfect color…not too bright, yet pigmented – although you have to be careful when you first apply it to make sure it is evenly distributed or else it is darker in some spots than others and looks a little weird. Definitely recommend!
I also bought Clinique Naturally Glossy mascara. As a side note, I haven’t purchased anything Clinique in a while just because I have tried their foundations umpteen times and it never matches – it’s always orangey on me so I’m never really drawn to anything at their counter…maybe it’s too close to the MAC counter, too? haha. Anyway, I read reviews on it and decided to give it a try and LOOOOVE it! It’s not for someone who wants a lot of drama, but it’s great for everyday. It seems to do a decent job adding color and lengthening, however, not much for volume. Maybe I’ll have to venture to Clinique more often to check out more of their products with the exception of their foundations :P

Oh! Also from Bobbi Brown I got the Crystal Eye Palette. From Sephora I got NARS Orgasm pressed blush and the Sephora Glitz and Glam Deluxe Sampler. And from the drugstore I bought 3 Revlon Super Lustrous lipglosses. I LOVE these glosses. I like them as much as MAC Cremesheen glosses- which are my favorite of all time.
