A sparkling golden shimmer dust for body and hair!
If you’re lemming Guerlain Or Imperial Loose Powder but simply can’t justify the $85 price tag do check out Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Gold Shimmer Dust for $39. Same effect, way lower price tag.
This comes housed in a vintage style perfume bottle with a puff. It mimics Guerlain’s Holiday powders all the way. For the past several years Guerlain has come out with several variations of sparkling powder in several shades and designs with it’s Holiday Collections. In recent years, many brands have mimicked this idea, you can add Sparklicity Gold Shimmer Dust to that list.
It’s gorgeous presentation wise and something you’ll fondly put atop your dresser since the packaging is so very pretty and feminine.
The bottle is home to loose, golden shimmer powder. This isn’t any shimmer powder peeps, this is SHIMMER powder. I mean I know shimmer but I gotta give Tarina an award here because her Sparklicity Powder is absurdly shimmery and full of cheery sparkle. It’s really stunning. I have the pink variation in the pot and it’s gorgeous but the gold is simply stunning.
Depressing the puff applicator gives a even burst of gold shimmer which you can mist onto shoulders, legs, arms, or into hair. If you’re daring you can go for the face however be prepared for a disco ball finish. If you want to get your money’s worth you can mist some on your finger and pat it gently onto your lids for a pretty sparkle.
Use your imagination and I’m sure you’ll find plenty of uses for it!
Love it, nothing bad to say!
- Sparkle, shimmer, and glitter fans!
- Anyone who likes pretty little makeup pieces (the bottle is gorgeous).
- Sparkle, shimmer, or glitter haters!
I absolutely love this but count me bias since I’m such a hardcore fan of shimmer. The presentation of the bottle is lovely which makes it even more desirable to me plus the lovely powder inside doesn’t hurt.
Do you need it?
I’d like to think so if you’re as fond a fan as I am for shimmer however if you’re not you might not see the joy in this. It’s not an essential makeup item by any means and you may not even get full use out of it if you happen to be a shimmer-a-holic however it is a nice festive piece for the Holidays when sparkle is always in order.
