Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift is a simple little tool to brighten the under-eye area and smooth fine lines. It promises to fill fine lines, brighten you up, and give you an instant eye lift.

And it works too.

Happy Days!

Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift fills fine lines, brightens, and conceals minor imperfections around the eye area!

Ahh I love it so.

This is a great little treat for getting tired eyes back in shape. Mind you it’s not pigmented enough to act as a concealer so don’t go into a purchase assuming this will conceal and cover problems because it won’t. Although pigmented it’s not pigmented enough to conceal major woe such as darkness and puffiness.

It will however give eyes a lifted, refined, brighter look. You can use it alone if your eyes aren’t in bad shape or you can use it in conjunction with your concealer. It’s a universal shade of creamy nude that should suit most skin types and basically acts to brighten up tired eyes.

In my case, after a long night of good sleep, I can use it alone to brighten and freshen up on my eye area. It does well at filling and concealing finer lines while brightening up sleepy eyes for a more fresher look.

In cases of, “OMG I can’t believe I’m working on three hours sleep…” it works well in conjunction with a heavy duty concealer. In many ways my concealer already brightens and conceals well enough but with a little Instant Eye Lift in place my eyes look fresher and even more awake and definitely brighter.

The formula is creamy, blends easily, and applies simply with a sponge tip applicator. I had no problems with creasing or caking with the lightweight texture of the product.

Sadly, the one shade suits most may be a problem for those with darker skin tones. It’ll probably do well with fair, medium, and even olive complexions but darker might find it unsuitable.

It works well with concealers however if you’re concealer is heavier it may feel a little overly done with both products in place.

  • Anyone who doesn’t need alot of concealer but wants a bright, fresh, more awake eye area (if you don’t use concealer or you use very little, this product is ideal for lightweight coverage).
  • Anyone who needs an extra helping hand (if your concealer already does the job but you want a bit more to make you look fresher and more awake this is the product to go for).

  • Anyone with hardcore dark circles that expect miracles (this won’t deliver miracles but it will deliver an extra four hours of sleep to your eye area).
  • Anyone wanting incredible results (wielding this wisely will benefit your eyes and have them brighter and fresher however if you’re looking for it to conceal and brighten dark circles in a major way you might be disappointed).

Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift is somewhat of another product to add to the arsenal of items that I already apply on my face in the morning however I think it does benefit my eye area a fair bit where my concealer fails on occasion. It instantly delivers a nice rested eye look when I’m working on 6 hours at the most and makes me look fresher and more awake plus on days I don’t need a ton of coverage or I’m just running errands, this delivers a well rested eye look in a flash.

It’s not a miracle product by any means but used in conjunction with my concealer it delivers very nice results plus is a great touch up aid!

What concealer do you use? I have terrible circles and I am always on the hunt for my HG concealer.

Good morning! =) What application steps did you use for this? Over or under concealer?

Hi Muse, reading through your posts, we have one thing in common. I also have these really dark circles that I can’t live the house without concealers. Big fan of concealers too.

Ohh…tempting. Is this similar to the smashbox eye brightener? I like it for touch up.

beautiful canvas ugh dontcha just hate it? ;-D but it’s fun trying concealers lol!

umm haven’t tried eye brightener to be honest but think they are diff as SB’s version has a bit of pearl or shimmer to it right?

Hi. Just wondering if you have any idea how this compares to Mac’s Prep/Prime Vibrancy. I just got it recently, but am not sure about it. It seems to dry out under my eyes after several hours and accentuate my lines. A friend has the Instant Eye Lift and really likes it. I’m wondering what you think.

    Thanks!

Hi Lisa I think MAC’s PP is more creamier this has a drier texture also MAC’s version is considerably sheerer!
