Mandom Cleansing Express Eye Makeup Remover Review

I’m a big fan of Mandom’s Beauty offerings particularly the Mandom Moist Cleansing Express Lotion.

It’s kinda the lazy girl’s guide to removing makeup. It’s quick, it’s cheap, and it does the job fast and well. I don’t use it nearly as much as I’d like to since I have this intricate several step makeup removal process thing going on but if you’re lazy or just in a hurry Cleansing Express can pretty much get it all off, including waterproof mascara, quick and easy like.

Mandom Cleansing Express Eye Makeup Remover now this I can probably make complete use of daily.

Check it!

A dual phase eye makeup remove which supposedly contains deep sea water.

This awesome stuff is my new HG remover (holy grail). I can’t justify purchasing Lancome Bi-Facil so I indulge in Sephora Eye Makeup Remover for $8 bucks and call it a day, this is my normal remover of choice.

I can easily get on board with this now.

It’s a dual phase system so a shake up is required prior to use. I was a little, itty bitty worried about using it on my eyes since the regular Mandom Cleansing Express products sting like a mother in my opinion but no stinging thankfully! Yay!

(Shaken not stirred)

I simply soak a cotton pad, hold it against my eye for a few seconds, and swipe once, done! Makeup removed. Waterproof mascara, hardcore eyeshadow, eyeliner, etc…it goes to work getting it all off quick and easy like.

Even though it’s a dual phase remover it doesn’t leave behind an oily residue and wipes clean away leaving your eye soft and makeup free!

It’s a bit of a pain to track down since it’s a Japanese makeup product but online it runs around $10-$12 depending on where you purchase. YesStyle.com for example has it for $12 or E-bay sellers have it for around $10. Shop around, you can def get a deal.

  • Anyone who needs to remove stubborn eye makeup and waterproof mascara easily.
  • Anyone who likes Lancome Bi-Facil.

  • Anyone who isn’t keen about tracking down beauty products abroad, shopping online, and possibly paying airmail shipping fees.

I can easily see this becoming my go to for daily eye makeup remover. Sephora is great but I don’t mind paying the extra 2 to 4 dollars to get some of this since it works almost as perfectly as Lancome’s version!

Likey lots.

Muse Approved for purchase!

I LOVE this makeup remover. I’m so happy the local Sasa carries it here in Taiwan.

Hey Muse, do you know if this and the other Mandom makeup remover you reviewed are available in regular Japanese drugstores like Matsumoto Kiyoshi? And if not, do you know in which stores they are available? They sound fantastic!

    Hi Muse,
I have been following closely on your site for a few months now and this product is great enough for me to want to comment about it!
I am from Singapore and this is widely availble here at our drugstore – Watsons – thankfully!
I was recommended to this by a close friend who had great skin, hence I thought why not give this a try since the price was very reasonable (I had been using Fancl Oil Cleanser previously).
This was the best make-up remover I’ve tried that really does the job extremely well yet does not cost an arm or a leg.
If you could try the All-in-one Gel Cleanser by the same brand as well, it is my must have product for night cleansing that skips using any cleanser after.
Try it to believe it! Cheers! =)

hi daphne thanks for commenting hun! Watsons has been carrying everything lately! The last year and a half I’ve seen such an amazing jump in the import of Japanese goodies to ‘pore! That’s so fabulous! ;-D I actually have the all in one gel, great stuff. I don’t use it nearly enough ;-D

Thanks again for the comment :D!

    hey muse! ^^
do you prefer this or the b&c super off?
i wear some pretty heavy duty eye makeup i.e. mj mascara
and i’m really looking for something that’ll take it all off 🙂

hey nico this isn’t really the ticket for daily eye makeup remover. best to use an oil based remover for super hardcore makeup 🙂
