Nicola Roberts Dainty Doll Collection is Back!

Nichola Roberts launched her Dainty Doll Collection with Jelly Pong Pong about…mmm two years ago? It sold out pretty quickly. I reviewed a few items from it at the time but wasn’t particularly impressed.

However, those with extremely fair skin this is for you. Nichola created this collection with fair skin chicas in mind like herself as she grew tired of being on an endless quest to find the best and most suitable shades for her very fair skin.

After getting fed up with the selection available she quit looking and created the Dainty Doll Collection.

Jump!

Now if you were privy to the original collection and had hopes for products to return, sorry, you’re out of luck as this is a brand new collection of products.

Don’t quote me but I don’t believe Jelly Pong Pong has anything to do with this release where as before it was a collaborated effort between the brand and Nicola.

Here’s the line up.

  • Dainty Doll Wonderbalm

Multi use product for use on lips, hands, elbows, knees, heels, or dab lightly over your cheek bones, eye lids and corners or lips to give a dewy finish.

  • Dainty Doll by Nicola Roberts Eyeshadow Base

Eyeshadow base featuring a conditioning and protective formula for longer lasting, crease proof eyeshadow.

  • Dainty Doll by Nicola Roberts Eyeshadow (Four Shades Available)

Eyeshadow featuring a smooth, long lasting finish perfect for a subtle daytime look or built up for evening wear.

  • Dainty Doll by Nicola Roberts Blusher (Three Shades Available)

Blusher featuring a soft natural powder for long lasting coverage, in a compact with mirror for on-the-go application.

  • Dainty Doll by Nicola Roberts Mascara & Eyeliner Duo

Mascara and eyeliner duo featuring a double ended design, with an eye defining liquid eyeliner and lengthening mascara for thick lashes.

  • Dainty Doll Eye Liner Pencil (Five Shades Available)

The eye pencil can be used to line and define the eye, when creating a sharp line or a smudged softer, smoky look.

  • Dainty Doll by Nicola Roberts Loose Mineral Powder Foundation (Four Shades Available)

Loose mineral powder foundation featuring a natural finish and built-in soft brush applicator for a flawless look.

  • Dainty Doll by Nicola Roberts Lipstick (Five Shades Available)

Lipstick featuring a long lasting and moisturizing formula, perfect for creating a natural look or layered for more impact.

  • Dainty Doll by Nicola Roberts Lip Gloss

Clear lip gloss featuring a natural look and high shine finish, perfect for wearing on its own or over lipstick.

  • Dainty Doll by Nicola Roberts Concealer Click Pen (Four Shades Available)

Concealer click pen featuring an easy to use tipped brush for brightening your skins contours and making dark circles disappear.

If you’ve always had a problem finding the perfect shade of color because you’re super pale, the Dainty Doll Collection is for you. Of course, some of the items aren’t just for those with fairer skin, anyone can easily take advantage of the lip colors, gloss, shadows, and even eyeshadow base which reminds me of Benefit Lemonaid.

The Collection is sold at ASOS.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. This drives me nuts. It’s created for pale skin but the only items they brought back are the ones pale-skinned girls can get ANYWHERE. I can find MINERAL foundation to suit my skin in seconds, and blush/eyeshadow etc is no problem.

It’s liquid/mousse foundation which is IMPOSSIBLE to find. And the only thing they didn’t bring back. Bravo.

    • the Muse

that’s true Anastasia. most of the items aren’t REALLY just for fari skin. The mousse foundation was pretty decent, I remember purchasing it 😛

  • Jessica

I’ve tried a few of these already. Like the Tarina Jewelry Box, I felt kind of jipped. Especially considering the price of some of the products.
The Wonderbalm is nice but I kept thinking Hmmm what does this remind me of? Smith’s Rosebud Balm! Which I can get for $5 instead of $35.
The eyeshadow base was a more dry, one shade lighter than Benefit’s Lemon Aid.
I like the concealer pen but for the price I’d rather just go all the way and get my Dior pen.
I hate sounding awful it’s just, given the price I expected better quality.

jessica ha does it really? I was thinking of getting it too! ;-D I tried the foundation a while ago and I kinda liked it but for the price meh! thanks for sharing ;D

  • Jessica

Yeah, there’s nothing worse when beauty products don’t live up to your expectations, or even worse, the expectations the price brings forth.
With the prices of it, and the over-priced international shipping I probably could’ve went crazy at the Chanel counter (Which I’m on restriction from lol)

    • the Muse

amen Jessica ;-D preach it. ha Chanel is a killer no doubts about that ;D
