Laura Geller has a Holiday Gift Set and a new Holiday Eye Palette Trio available at QVC. She was on the Q all weekend I believe but I haven’t had a chance to skim through the shows, yes, I’m sick enough to Tivo these things. Anyone watch? What I miss?
After flipping briefly through the beauty section on QVC I don’t think much thankfully but two items did catch my eye.

What do you think of Tokidoki at Sephora so far? I’d say it was a hit for me. I’m kinda digging on the sweet packaging plus some of the shadows and glosses are actually killer.
Likey!
I got a round of the TokiDoki Robbery Makeup Bags recently to try out and they are pretty darn nice if you’re a fan.

Happy Shopping dears!

When I was a kid and well into adulthood I love/loved Hello Kitty. Yes, I say it’s ok to admit to loving Hello Kitty even when you’re far from your tween years.
Now…I gotta admit…Isn’t My Melody way cuter though? Must be those ickle wabbit ears that make her so much sweeter looking than Hello Kitty right? Plus she’s like a hybrid isn’t she? Fake ears but a real rabbit tail…so is she a cat or is she a rabbit or is she a hybrid of both!? If we take those ears away what’s hiding underneath!?
These are the questions that keep me up at night….
Speaking of cute I spritzed myself this morning with the Demeter My Melody Cologne Spray.

Time to start Monday off with a little fun because lord knows I can use some fun at the start of a boring work week, even though it’s a short one eh?
The name of the game is Use It, Stash It, or Trash it and it’s a variation of Sex, Marry, Kill. Never played it? It’s easy!
Someone presents you with a list of three people in your life or celebs and you decide if you want to have sex with them, marry them, or kill them off.
My variation of the game involves cosmetics. I’ll give you three options and you tell me if you’d keep the item and use it, stash it away in your beauty vault and never use it because it’s just so damn gorgeous , or trash it in the makeup graveyard!
Ready to play?

E.L.F. has a new Complete Coverage Concealer Palette for $3. I have to admit that I do believe concealer is a splurge item. I’d give away vital organs for a concealer that works well at making me look fresher and more flawless. I suffer from puffiness under my eyes, minor fine lines, and a bit of darkness so a great concealer, for me, is worth its weight in gold.
However, from time to time I like checking out budget concealers because you honestly never know when you might strike gold such is the case with Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer, that stuff is pure, solid gold concealer joy. Sigh but finds like this are rare indeed.
So maybe E.L.F. Studio Complete Coverage Concealer might be another winner?

Yay! The Lush Limited Edition Perfume Collection has launched in NA. The original launch was last month in the UK during a forum party. I quickly ordered my goodies and got them a few days ago. Day of the Dead Perfume is rockin’ dude, just rockin’!
The good news is the range is now available, for one day only, from 10AM to Midnight (PST). Each fragrance is $29.95 and available in the following scents:
- American Cream – Lavender and vanilla shake with a hint of fresh fruitiness.
- Snowcake – Almond marzipan and rose absolute for sophisticated sweetness.
- Twilight – Find serenity in lavender and tonka absolute.
- Big – Tropical mandarin and vanilla perfume for breezy, beachy days.
- Black Pearl – Sail the high seas of lavender and blackcurrant.
- Day of the Dead – Zesty lime fragrance inspired by a Mexican fiesta for the dead.
Lush does not have an exact delivery date for perfumes but promises they’ll arrive prior to Christmas so if you’re wanting them as a gift, according to Lush, they should arrive right on time.
Happy Shoppin’!
Available at www.lushusa.com (this link will be active at 10AM PST)
I’ve already checked out and reviewed Day of the Dead if it’s any help when deciding which scents you need.

Guerlain Spring 2010 brought us visions of Cherry Blossoms. The collection was feminine, flirty, and pink! Images of Spring 2011 are popping up on quite a few European websites and this year it doesn’t quite capture the Spring vibe it did last year. Guerlain goes a bit more traditional this year with a resort-y type Spring Collection. It’s not uncommon for brands to do bronze, resort-like shades and collections for Spring as we are still deep in Winter when they release these items and I guess they feel like people are gearing up for warmer weather or a mid-Winter break to some fabulous Island. Whatever the case may be Guerlain captures some of that vibe with Spring 2011.
Let’s have a glance at the images.

Sleek Makeup has a blusher available for as little as $8 which resembles NARS somewhat in terms of packaging and pigmentation. If you’re on the hunt for a budget blush that’s super pigmented this could be the answer to your makeup prayers.

L’Oreal has a new Double Extend Eye Illuminator Mascara out. I’m a fan of the original and first Double Extend Mascara they introduced so I thought I’d give their Illuminator version a try out to see what the scoop was. This isn’t new by any means as Covergirl has that Eyebright range as does Almay but it is delivered in a different application method which could appeal to fans of Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes Mascara and Telescopic Explosion Mascara.
Let’s check it out!
