Physicians Formula Mineral Glow Pearls Blush Review, Swatches, Photos
Has anyone tried the Physicians Formula Mineral Glow Pearls? I’ve stayed away from them for a while now because I feared they’d apply to frosty. I can’t dig the frost.
Recently, I came across the new Physicians Formula Mineral Glow Pearls Blush and was pretty skeptical since they looked pretty frosty too. The original Glow Pearls were a highlighter type of powder where as this version is a blusher. Looking at them I was absolutely gasping for breath because pretty is an understatement. They are really pretty pieces of makeup that can get a beauty junkies panties in a twist. However, my logical side whispered in my ear about how they would probably apply frosty so I sat at the display for a quarter of an hour debating if I needed them or not. After a few more minutes went by I decided I’d just try one color and after ten more minutes went buy I walked out of the store with both colors they had.
Did I like them?
Did they apply frosty?
I’ll tell you next week!
Ha, only kidding!
Jump ahead to find out!
A gorgeous, glowing blusher!
These come housed in an elegant mirrored case with a cute little pearl decoration on the lid. The compact is a flip top design that features a stealthy little compartment under the blush that hides a brush and full size mirror.
Much to my utter delight and surprise they apply like an absolute dream. I kinda think of Valentine’s Day when I look at them for some reason. The delicate swirls of pink give me a warm, fuzzy romantic vibe. It’s such a flirty, girlish piece of makeup!
My drugstore only had two shades but I’m hopeful that Physicians Formula has more in the works for these. The shades I got were Natural Pearl (Pinky Peach) and Rose Pearl (Rosy Pink). Physicians Formula dubs Natural Pearl a natural glow and Rose Pearl a rosy glow. The shades are crazy pigmented and have a glow-y finish which isn’t frosty or shimmery, as per the description, it’s a rosy or peachy-like glow depending the shade you use. They’ll probably work best on fair to medium complexions but darker tones might get a good build up of color using a kabuki brush. Both shades give my cheeks a gently flushed look that’s very pretty, girlish, and youthful!
As with most Physicians Formula compacts, the brush included is rubbish. It’s a very scratchy brush that sheds horribly. Not good. Wish they could improve on this.
Packaging is wicked ace however it does easily get fingermarks on it since the backside and some of the front is a mirror finish.

These get a very big Muse Approval from me. You NEED these! I paid $8 each thanks to a $2 coupon on the box which I used during check out however you can easily get them cheaper I’m sure considering the brand is always on sale at CVS. The blushes are absolutely stunning little budget pieces that have a fantastic formula! I was delighted with both to say the least!
