Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip Gift Set Review, Swatches, Photos
Totally off the topic of makeup but is anyone watching The Walking Dead on AMC? Holy Zombie-time Batman! Loves it! It’s super fun seeing this graphic novel come to life and they really haven’t forsaken anything creating this. It’s gruesome, bloody, cuss-filled zombie fun! I’m obsessed with Zombie’s so this is so me.
I even got out my Hello Kitty Rest In Peach Zombie Glitter Body Spray out, you know, Zombies are people too, they dig the glitter and shiz. Fun fact, Andrew Lincolns, the dude that plays the legendary Rick Grimes, is British! I dunno who I have a bigger crush on, Rick Grimes come to life or little Glen, token smart Asian kid.
Anyway, enough of about Zombies.
Let’s talk cool makeup deals.
Has anyone indulged in the Sephora Favorites Gift Sets? These have gotten better and better every year and feature a plethora of great products. Now you might be confused and assume they include only Sephora makeup but not the case dude! They actually contain an array of products from fav brands such as Tarte, Bare Minerals, DKNY, and so much more.
I recently checked out the Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip Gift Set.
Check it!
This gift set features ten smashing lipglosses from Sephora, Too Faced, Smashbox, Tarte, Cover FX, Lorac, and Bare Minerals. Cool eh? Some are mini, some medium, and some full size so you’re getting a nice assortment of goodies.
Now these are good and they are bad. They are bad because they should be available year round so we can use them to test out various products. Also bad because around this time of the year many are strapped for cash and they aren’t willing to dish out on themselves when they are busy getting gifts for friends and family so yes year round would be fabulous!
Now the good….
This set features ten various lip products you can test out, swatch, wear around, and play around with. It gives you a great way to try out several lipglosses before indulging in the full size and hell in some cases Sephora is giving you the full size in this set.
So what do you get?
$40 snags you the following:
- Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Tease
- Too Faced Glamour Gloss in Sex Pot
- Sephora Collection Super Shimmer in Pink Ballerina
- Sephora Collection Super Shimmer in Rusted Rose
- Tarte Vitamin-Infused Lipgloss in 40 Winks
- Cover FX Mint Glaze Lip Gloss
- Lorac Multiplex 3D Lip Gloss in Cliché
- Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Radiant
- Tarte Rise & Shine Lip Gloss and Stain in Cherry
- Bare Minerals Buxom Lips in Roxanne
If you add up the Buxom Lips and Cover FX Mint Glaze you’re already in the door $40 so the rest is basically free goodies for you the enjoy. Both Smashbox glosses are medium size and contain a good deal of product. The two Sephora mini lipglosses are a nice size as well and the Tarte Stain and Gloss are the normal size. If you add items up it does come to well above the $40 price tag.
The set also includes a Beauty Insider Reward that gives you 100 points if you end up purchasing any of these glosses from Sephora in the future in a full size version.
I do think these make a nice gift but I think they make a better beauty tool for those of us that want to try a variety of new products and aren’t willing to commit to a large size for $20 and upwards. Granted, many beauty junkies probably already tried much of what’s inside this kit but alot of newer beauty collectors and fans will find this an ideal solution to trying various gloss formulas at a fraction of the cost.
Very cute.
Sephora Favorites as well worth indulging in. They range from $30 to $40 and cover a range of genres such as hair, fragrance, glosses, and more!
Happy Days an easy way to try out a range of makeup before committing to the full size deal.
I think Imma loves it!
Anyone try any of the Sephora Favorites?
