Stila Floral Chic Palette

Thanks to Samantha for bringing this to my attention! Stila Floral Chic Palette is available exclusively at Urban Outfitters and is $10, just like the Travel Girl Palettes.

Looks cute eh?

See the inside…

My suspicions that these $10 palettes aren’t gone for good is confirmed so I imagine we’ll see more of these pop up! Although you might be able to skip this as some of the shades looks very similar to ones already released in the Travel Girl Palettes and a bit mismatched might I add. I will indulge but I’ll probably have to wait for some sort of Free Shipping deal as shipping is costly for a single palette.

Eyeshadows Include:

  • Madison
  • Taylor
  • Charley
  • Jordan

Convertible Lip and Cheek Color in Daisy

Available exclusively at www.urbanoutfitters.com

I want this (just because I have the other Stila palettes), but I refuse to pay $10 to ship a $10 item. I don’t want it that badly.

this looks like a mixture of tokyo and moscow. i did fall in love with the convertible colour in the tokyo palette so i may have to get my hands on this!

I actually got this at my local Urban a couple of weeks ago. Just an FYI that all the shadows are shimmery, since it’s hard to see in the picture. The light blue (Taylor) is similar to Chill from the Moscow palette, but a tad brighter; and the black (Jordan) is close to the Peace Sign shadow from the Tokyo palette, but the shimmer in Peace Sign seems a tad bit more blue. Also, the Daisy convertible color is an even brighter, hotter pink than Sakura from the Tokyo palette.

I agree that it’s a little mismatchy; I haven’t even used mine yet because the colors together puzzle me. But it was so darn cute and cheap, plus I love the bright pinkness of the convertible color!

oo andrea I perked up! ;-D Are they very Stila-like?! ;-D It’s damn cheap and well worth it even though I felt the shades were reruns (but not really as confirmed by you:) ) and mismatchy!

Since UO is the only place in my town with that level of makeup (no sephora or ulta!) I may go pick this up. I only have the Paris pallette and this is pretty different.

I do wish there were a matte, the matte brown in the Paris Pallette is my new favorite shadow.

Texture-wise, I’d say that the shadows are pretty on par with the rest of the travel palettes, not quite as soft as the original Stila shadows, but still good considering the price. They’re all pretty pigmented, minus the white, which barely shows up.

Just did a bit of swatching side-to-side with the similar colors. On the skin, the blacks look pretty much the same. Chill is a more muted blue, while Taylor appears more of a sky blue. Sakura is more blue-pink than Daisy. For good measure, I swatched Charley (the brown) next to the browns in the Moscow palette, and it’s much less coppery-orange. The differences are overall noticeable, but still pretty subtle.

I’d say if you’re collecting and you can find it in stores, get it. Otherwise, you could get away with the colors in the other palettes. Hope this helps! =)

Grrr… I saw these at UO last week, but since the palettes were not wrapped in any way, EVERY SINGLE ONE had been touched, smeared, and otherwise messed up by previous customers. Seriously, Stila… you need to put these in some plastic or a little box or something.

    Sorry… rant over!

god that sucks Alison what the hell is wrong with people that they do that
      ?! 🙁

Paris still takes the cake! I agree these colors are mismatched like whoa. I’m trying to envision the “theme” or “storyboard” for this – Grey Gardens? I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing though, lol.

    • the Muse

hi pj good to see ya ;-D I agree. loved Paris. LOL….I can’t really even understand the best way to use this, very mismatched 😛

The outside of this palette is gorgeous, but the colors inside don’t go well with it. I’d expect more English Garden-y colors with the shadows, but instead you get a mish mash. The coppery-gold color is pretty though.
