Almay Wake Up Hydrating Makeup

Almay Wake Up Hydrating Makeup

Here’s the new Almay Wake Up Hydrating Makeup display that I recently reviewed for you. It’s such an exciting product but a damn shame it fails to work.

The powder has a cool, refreshing feel which is quite lovely but zero coverage after I tried it.

Anyone see or try it as of yet?

It’s actually a damn shame that they still only put out 3 shades. You would think that they would put out more shades by now.

hi Justine this seems to have more than three shades. They had groups of beige, natural, ivory, etc….

unfortunatly i tried it, and it was a complete waste of money. i’m not sure how…but it actually seems to disappear between my brush and my face. the cooling property is great, but its definatly not a foundation.

I just bought this and I am not impressed. It is not bad but not great either. So far, I have tried this just over fresh clean and moisturized skin. It does not have good coverage. I like a medium coverage most of the time. I wanted to try this for a light spring look. It has a bit of shimmer to it. I agree with you Muse about the brush so I will clean it between uses. I am going to try it over some concealer and if that doesn’t work, then I will try it over a light foundation and use it as a finishing powder. If that does not work, it will be returned.

diva agreed not bad but far from great kinda sad it offered very minimal coverage b/c it has the potential to be great for warmer weather, damn shame :P

I tried this as a finishing powder and it worked decent. I applied concealer and some foundation first and then buffed Almay Wake Up over this. It actually made my skin flawless using it this way. I won’t buy it again but I will be able to use it.
