Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Yules 2010 Egg Nog Fragrance Oil Review, Photos

Ahh Eggnog, a traditional holiday favorite for some. As for me, the idea of drinking beaten eggs, milk, and sweetener, well, it doesn’t really appeal.

Sorry.

But I like the way it smells. It has that whipped sweet vanilla scent that actually makes me into a believer that it could be tasty, sadly, it’s not to my taste.

But hey, I don’t mind smelling like it! Yum!

Jump!

BPAL has an Egg Nog scented perfume oil that should bring a little holiday cheer to your fragrance wardrobe. Those unfamiliar with BPAL or the Lab I do urge you to read my original post here so you can get an idea about the company.

The lab got it just right and this does, indeed, smell spot on like a cold glass of Eggnog! It starts off with a strong creamy milk-like scent and morphs into a sweet blend of vanilla, milk, and eggs with a very subtle dash of sugary cinnamon. You really get the vibe of a frothy, cold mug of the famous holiday drink!

For the most part dominate notes of sugary, milky vanilla follow through the day and the scent stays true with a good throw and plenty of linger.

I love foody scents so this is really one for me. If you’re a fan of vanilla, or foody blends, or just love Egg Nog this fragrance oil is for you!

Loves!

I wanted to love Egg Nog but all I got was plastic-y note of doom. 🙁

HA Michele I got you into bpal? fierce! ;-D Aw sorry about the plastic. It melts down on me beautifully and leaves behind very sweet, sweet vanilla! did you try the second act of the nutcracker yet?!

Thanks for turning me onto Black Phoenix Alchemy scents, I’ve enjoyed the ones I’ve tried so far! I love niche perfumeries who make unique scents. This sounds like a delicious scent, anything “food” scented (especially vanilla!) always appeals to me, so I think I’m going to have to order some of this to try!
