Guerlain Meteorites Compact Pressed Illuminating and Mattifying Powder

Guerlain debuts its Meteorites Compact Pressed Illuminating and Mattifying Powder this Spring. Yes, a skin colored Meteroites Powder, no the skies are not falling.

Jump!

I know its weird to see a Meteorites Powder from Guerlain sans the normal color perfecting scheme however I do found it quite exciting to adventure into a new powder that illuminates, offers a bit of coverage, and mattifies.

Our favorite pearls have reinvented themselves into a compact powder in a variation of nude shades. The corrective colours for which Météorites is known are now found within, providing an unprecedented matte finish and radiance. The powder erases minor imperfections and softens features for a more flawless finish.

The new pressed powder features:

  • Tailor-made for every skin tone.
  • A constellation of miniscule multi-coloured radiant pearly particles with yellow, orange, green, red, violet or white reflections to recreate ideal radiance on the complexion.
  • The complexion is perfectly matte, luminous and naturally glowing.
  • The skin is silky and stays moisturized all day long.

The formula sports:

  • Talc is used to offer an incomparable softness and for ultra-simple application.
  • White powders to mattify and absorb excess sebum and humidity to put an end to shine.
  • Nylon microbeads and new-generation resins elasticity lighten the texture.
  • All of these elements are compacted thanks to a mixture of oils to ensure perfect glide.
  • A formula that traps in moisture to slow dehydration and pamper the skin with softness and comfort.

Guerlain Meteorites Compact Pressed Illuminating and Mattifying Powder is available in three shades:

  • Harmony 01- Teint Rose
  • Harmony 02- Teint Beige
  • Harmony 03- Teint Dore

The compact has also undergone a nice price drop and now features a $56 price tag which is considerably lower than some of the pressed Meteorites releases in the past. The powder will be available in January and I, for one, will be indulging!

Will you?

“Yes, a skin colored Meteroites Powder, no the skies are not falling.” BAHAHA!! I almost choked on what I was eating when I read that : P I might actually get this, I’ve always loved the concept of the Meteorites but didn’t like pearls : )

    • the Muse

LOL Ludwig ;-D it’s true though right?! lol! the pearls can be a pain sometimes and the pressed powder is a bit too expensive, this is just right at this price!

  • Cj

I will definitely, unequivocally, without a doubt be getting this! Lol ;D I swear right when I first heard about this I was like OMG Guerlain made something just for me lol. There’s so many times when I don’t have time or even want to put on like a full face of makeup, I can just dab on a little primer and this and I’m good to go 🙂 I just need to figure out which shade to get lol

PS: Please disregard my previous statement on the last Guerlain post of “WHERE MAI COMPACT B!!” lol 😛

    • the Muse

LOL CJ ;-D <3 your compact be HERE! ;-D I agree, fab for a quickie put together look! I can barely wait to get my grubby hands on it. I think it's going to be a winner ;D

  • deb

Now this is what I have been waiting for! The price is better than I expected, I thought you were going to tell me it was $80+!

    • the Muse

deb I’m delighted with the price, very affordable range imho considering I was thinking $80 at least!

  • jackieg02

I think I want/need this. I have held off on buying from Guerlain, but I think I may splurge on this.

  • Jennie R.

I’ve never actually tried anything by Guerlain, but this might have to be the first thing. I always thought the meteorites perals always looked so shimmery. This looks like a nice alternative. Shimmer is def NOT good when you have naturally oily skin.

  • Anitacska

I can’t wait for these (as well as the other part of the spring collection)! 😀

  • Nikolas Deveraux

I’m pretty excited for this product to be released :] I’ve always loved the Meteorites Perles but I’ve always wanted a compact version of them to carry around with me :] $56 isn’t all that bad either… I just wonder how much product each compact with contain though…

    • the Muse

hey nik! I really want it as well. I haven’t hit up counters, playing good, but I imagine its out available. mmmm I imagine same as the regular powder around 0.35oz?

  • Cj

These are available on Nordstrom’s site!! Gonna order one along with their primer ;D

  • Michelle

Do you know when they will start selling this online and in stores at Sephora?

    • the Muse

not sure michelle sephora doesn’t always get every Guerlain release I find. Perhaps earlier feb if we are lucky!
