Guerlain Sur Mes Levres Spring 2011 Collection

Although we discussed the Guerlain Sur Mes Levres Spring 2011 Collection in a prior post here is the official US release information as well as new images.

Enjoy!

Guerlain celebrates the season of renewal by creating a charming, playful and cheerful limited-edition collection, Sur Me Levres or “on my lips”. With tangy tones and vivid shades of pink, Guerlain invites you to see life in vibrant colour. Radiant fuchsia shades are coupled with an ultra-black case to bring out the collections radiant and luminous nature. The Sur Me Levres collection glorifies beauty by offering women infinitely adjustable tones and tailor-made radiance.

Guerlain Sur Mes Levres Blush G (LE) $65

When Rouge G becomes a blush, the result is the most luxurious and chic palette. Packaged in a shiny lacquered black case within a suede pouch lined in fuchsia satin, the Blush G reveals coloured stripes in an energized orange, intense fuchsia, delicate pink and pearly pink embossed with a G in elegant calligraphy. These healthy glow boosters harmonize perfectly to revive the complexion and give it energy and vitality. Blush G instantly lights up the face for a chic and sophisticated look.
The black and fuchsia blush applicator makes application easy to embellish all complexions:

  • For an instant burst of radiance, apply the four tones to the cheekbones to reveal a deceptively natural healthy glow. Your cheeks are beautifully warmed and rejuvenated.
  • To revive a pale complexion, choose the two lower shades to pinch your cheekbones with slightly pearly pink.
  • To enhance an olive matte or tanned complexion, use the two upper shades, which are more saturated and graphic, to structure the face.
  • For a complexion-reviving effect, opt for all-over application of the four tones, making circular movements with the Météorites Powder Brush.

Guerlain Sur Mes Levres Rouge G (LE) $46

This collectors edition Rouge G holds 4 collector shades in a sleek black lacquer case. Whats inside? The formula of the famous Rouge G in a light and creamy version infused with subtly tinted springtime colours. This rich and voluptuous lipstick leaves lips deliciously shiny and sophisticated.

The “Série Noire” Rouge G comes in 4 Limited Edition Shades:

  • 24 Rouge Sensuel
  • 45 Orange Euphorique
  • 70 Fuchsia Délice
  • 71 Rose Désir

Guerlain Sur Mes Levres Écrin 6 Couleurs Eye Shadow Palette in Rue de Rivoli (LE) $84

Within one case lays 6 limited edition eyeshadow colours. The central fuchsia shade is surrounded by nudes, a delicate gold and pearly ivory, while the liner traces the eyes in a shimmering brown. Tone-on-tone, Couture or Smoky: the result is breathtaking, no matter what harmony is chosen. Play with six shades and three textures to layer with no risk of an error or faux pas. The key ingredient Moonstone offers its silvery and bluish reflections to adorn the eyes with its lamellar structure and allows for the eyeshadow to stay on longer and look fresher.

Guerlains Spring Colour collection is available beginning January 2011.

What do you think?

I’m very interested in the blush myself as it’s a unique piece for Guerlain, it’s not often you see such from the brand. Some of you had expressed a keen interest in the lipsticks which I find equally as lovely particularly because many of the shades are pretty bold but will apply subtly and beautifully knowing Guerlain.

Uhh what happened to the Meteorites Compacts?? Those were the only things I really wanted in this collection 🙁

The blush indeed looks v elegant! 🙂 I find it unusual for Guerlain to come up with a gradated blush like that, though. I’d expect it more from Japanese brands, like RMK.

The Rouge Gs look so gorgeous. Any idea if the black lacquered tube will be like the normal line (metal)? Bec the normal Rouge Gs attract fingerprints like a magnet and after a while, get scratched up.
    🙁

Now I need to STAY WAY from makeup counters and Sephora….. spent waaaay too much at RMK over the week. Need to save $$ for Guerlain Spring 2011! Makes me wish Spring would come sooner. Though it is sunny year round in Singapore, LOL.

agreed M! Very unusual! I’m not sure on the tubes as of yet but will update ya ;-D RMK is gorg but sadly overpriced imho 🙁 I haven’t purchased from the line in a while b/c of this…! Hells yes, I’m ready for Spring wish I can say it’s sunny here but no way no how! ;D

I really am interested in that fuscia shade of ES but the others in the palette aren’t knocking my socks off. I am interested very much in that blush. I might have to go have a look at that.

The eyshadow palette looks fabulous! I don’t have a fuchsia like that in my collection at all. That would definitely be a nice addition.

  • Rachel

Ahhhhh pretty! Loving the blush! Muse, do you know if there will be any new meteorites pearls in this collection or upcoming ones at all please? Loved the perles d’or ones and I NEED more!

    • the Muse

hi rachel not sure hun. they’ll do their spring/summer bronzer collection shortly I imagine and after that the big summer color release which maybe will include some new meteorites?! but can’t confirm yet! promise to post if I hear!

I would like to see how you use the fuchsia shadow in an eye design. I can’t see myself using it. The other colors would work for me for every day. I can see me carrying this one around in my makeup bag as a staple.
