Harajuku Lovers Fragrance Wicked Style Lil’ Angel Review, Photos

I’ve been busy testing out the new Harajuku Lovers Fragrance Wicked Style Collection these past few days. Any verdict on what you think? I think at first glance we were all kinda yak about the girl’s velvety, bobble-like heads but after seeing them in person I actually changed my mind some I felt like they were pretty kawaii!

Although so far I will say out of the two scents I’ve tested out I haven’t yet found one to really love. I know the last round I just loved all the girls but this round they seem to smell very alike to my nose?!

But…regardless, no doubt they will appeal to fans plus those who like sweet, fruity florals can easily get on board with ’em!

Jump ahead to take a peek at Lil’ Angel!

As you know the Wicked Style Collection is based on various fashions that can be found in Japan. Lil’ Angel represents Gothic Lolita which is actually one of my favorite fashions. My inner goth absolutely adores the macabre that comes along with the Gothic Lolita’s charming clothing, dark lips, and smoky, exaggerated eyes.

Lil’ Angel embraces her goth side by sporting a sweet Victorian collared school dress. They should have given her a little coffin handbag or tote to complete her look no? Her little nails sport dark black nail polish and her pout is painted with a dark black lippie forgoing the normal red lipstick that Gothloli’s prefer.

Her scent is far from anything Goth or dark though. She’s very sweet but none of her notes can really be picked apart once she’s on. She has a sparkling scent that combines plum, blooming lotus, and satin wood which cocktails into a very sweet, floral scent. She lingers pretty long and has a nice throw depending on how much you spritz yourself (three mists should last all day depending on your body chemistry.)

Lil’ Angel wasn’t quite me, she’s missing something that I normally favor in the Harajuku Lovers line but she’s quite nice for a day fragrance that’s both fun and flirty.

You’ll like her for her cute bottle design without a doubt and if you favor tooth ache inducing sweet, florals!

The Wicked Style Collection is available now at Sephora.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Pretty cute 🙂 I think she’s my favorite stylistically. And Wendy is right–she looks like Hayley during the ‘Decode’ era. Love Paramore (so sad Josh and Zac left…)
I like really sweet fragrances, so I might have to sniff this one next time I’m in Sephora or Macy’s.
