L’Oreal Magic Smooth Souffle Foundation

Here’s the L’Oreal Magic Smooth Souffle Foundation display. I reviewed it recently for you and by now some of you probably tried it. I didn’t like it all that much sadly. It seemed to have the potential for greatness but something was missing….mmm…

What were your thoughts if you did try it?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

First there was mousse foundation. Now souffle. What’s next, cupcake? Muffin?
I really dislike the color range of L’oreal foundations. We only have a few shades in my country and they’re supposed to cater to Caucasian women, whose skin is lighter. The lightest shade is always a couple shades too dark and orange, and I’m not even pasty white.

I actually just bought this (damn me for not looking up the review first). The first hour I was loving it. It felt really nice on my dry skin. However, after an hour it was gone, *poof!* no more foundation. I do not have time to reapply every hour so unfortunately it’s a no go for me. I think I’ll stick to CoverGirl’s formula for the mousse foundation (though I’m totally with you on the Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer, loves!!!). I just wish I could find a foundation that feels as good as these types of formulas minus the silicone.

mmm courtney biggest downfall oxidizes SUPER fly fast 🙁 same here! sigh! I will say that Bourjois Paris and Tony Moly are incredibly good, same texture and worth the haul!
