L’Oreal The One Sweep Eyeshadow

Here’s the display for the L’Oreal The One Sweep Eyeshadow. I haven’t had any great success with it since purchasing and reviewing two of them for you a week or two ago but I keep trying with the hopes that it’ll work.

Basically it features three shades of shadow and a huge sponge applicator which you sweep the three shades on with to create a defining, contrasting eye look. What you actually get is a hot mess in my humblest.

Have you tried?

This already looks like a FAIL to me…lol
The pigments might be great, but I mean c’mon. You’re not going to get three BLENDED colors in one sweep. It screams “drag queen” to me.

Yup Kimee in my review I pretty much said it was a fail ;-D Just doesn’t work, too gimmicky sadly! 🙁

I’ve tried this and the colors actually blend really well. The applicator is
too big for my eye, but it’s really easy to use once you practice. Because
it’s too big and you can’t go straight across the eyelid that’s the reason it’s
already blended. Even if it doesn’t blend, the tip of the applicator is meant
to blend anything in. I use one edge of it to get more of the darker shadow
on it and use it as a liner and to but it in my crease, and under my lower
lashes. It’s actually a really genius idea, even though it doesn’t work exactly
how it’s intended it still cuts my makeup routine in half.

hey ninja happy to hear it worked out for you! Wouldn’t call in genius sadly but it’s an interesting idea pretty bummed it fails to work correctly but using my own brushes does the trick ;D

I have the one that’s Playful for Blue eyes. At first, I hated it. The next time I tried it, I only disliked it. After that, I started getting better at it, and now I love it. It takes a little practice, but it’s actually a pretty decent product and takes very little time to apply now.
If you do buy this and find that you don’t like it, don’t give up on it right away. Keep trying. If you really find that you truly hate it, you can always use an eyeshadow brush to apply the shadow individually.
