Sephora Travel Clutch Brush Set Review, Photos

Still stumped for beauty gifts? Brush sets are always a great one to go for! Particularly ones that are of high quality because I’m of a strong believer that makeup junkies can never have too many great brushes to apply their face with.

The Sephora Travel Clutch Brush Set is available in a festive red brush bag with a mirror and wristlet for toting around plus don’t forget the six brushes it hides away inside.

Check it!

I’ve always had great success with Sephora Brushes particularly the Pro line so I always jump at the chance to grab a new set when they launch since it’s cheaper to buy ’em as a set rather than individually.

The set includes:

  • Powder Brush
  • Foundation Brush
  • All Over Shadow Brush
  • Crease Brush
  • Flat Liner Brush
  • Lip Brush

It’s a nice array of brushes and will make a great gift for those who don’t own a ton of tools in their collections. All the brushes are of high quality sans shedding or splitting plus they are super soft yet dense enough for great application!

The thing that seals these as a great gift is the clutch that includes a wrist strap and a mirror for quickie touch ups on the go!

The set is $34 and rounds out at about $5 and change per a brush, a deal in a half in my opinion!

One thing that I do dislike is the lip brush included as I’m not one for using a lip brush so another shadow brush of some kind would have been way more useful for me.

Aside from that the set is a great deal and a good one for a quickie gift if you’re in the need and have been busy procrastinating the Holiday gift giving season away!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. omo! so pretty! =) i loved the softness of the bristles muse…but the sets i usually find are either missing something i need or giving me something i dont want…like the lip brush! any other suggestions on what other brush sets are worth investing in? Like sigma or coastal scents? O.o thanks muse!!! happy holidays!! <3

mmm bubu mac is a great place to start with brush sets too. I don’t own brush sets from sigma or coastal scents hun sorry 🙁

to you and yours too! hope santa treats you good ;D

I’m confused on the lip brush. In the wide shot it looks like just a metal stick then on the close up I see bristles. Is it a twist up brush?

That crease brush looks huge!! It must just be seeing it in pictures, because it looks too big for working into the crease, by far.

34$ sounds like such a good deal for a set of brushes. I have yet to buy any Sephora brushes except for a concealer brush a long while ago. (buying that one hurt my heart as well as my wallet.) they’re always so expensive so I tend to avoid them. I’ve just gotten some Sigma brushes individually and totally regret getting the lip brush. the brush is nice and I don’t have many qualms about lip brushes in general (you seem to dislike any that come your way!) but omg with the one I got, the cap that covers it up is RUSTED. wtf? so I haven’t closed it since then and fear that other lip brushes that are half-sized with those tops will be like that too. :/

i’m also not much of a lip brush user.. how does the lip brush work by the way? is there an invisible cap? or does it withdraw? can’t seem to figure it out from the pic

Nice! I’d rather have a covered lip brush than another useless eyebrow brush/lash comb. One tip for the lip brush is to load it up with lipstick, put on the cover and tuck it in your pocket or bag. You’ll have a touch up at the ready. 🙂

What is the height, width and length of the brush case? Thank you for the review! 🙂
