About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I got these in a QVC kit a while back – the one for eyes creases on me (original works fine) and the glowing primer doesn’t do anything for my oily skin. I think they work for most people so I’d certainly check it out if you haven’t tried them.

I’m a huge fan of the primer. I have the joy of having combination skin, where stuff for combination or just oily or dry only makes that scenario worse. I’ve been using BareMinerals for many years but just started using the primer a few months ago. Perfect combination of fighting the oils and moisturizing the dry. The major plus….I feel like it helps even out my skin tone so I can get away without wearing makeup if I don’t have time.
