Biore Marshmallow Whip Face Wash Review, Photos
Excuse me why I’ll rant at Biore for never releasing the cool stuff here in the US.
Biore WTH why can’t we have cool cleansers that are called Marshmallow Whip Face Wash? Not cool! We want these things too!
I happen to be a die hard fan of Kose Airy Whip, it was kinda my first introduction into the world of whippy, foamy, fluffy cleansers! I used to buy it by the case load and pimp it out on Musings and to my friends as an essential, must have quickie facial cleanser. Seriously, ask my friends, they’ll agree that they are tired hearing about Airy Whip.
Sorry, it’s just cool stuff.
Anything that looks like whipped cream in a can that can be used as a cleanser is the awesome to me. I’m easily excited about skincare.
That’s why Biore Marshmallow Whip Face Wash is so exciting, shhh, it’s actually taken the place of Airy Whip but DON’T mention that to Airy Whip as we’ve been friends for years and years, don’t wanna hurt its feelings eh? But seriously foaming plus a name with marshmallow in it?
A foaming facial cleanser.
Down to it’s ickle little chubby bottle Biore Marshmallow Whip Face Wash screams cuteness! This comes in a chubby little pink and white bottle that looks quite sweet on my bathroom sink. Simply pump it down and you’ll get a huge mound of whipped up foaming cleanser. The foam is actually quite dense unlike other foaming cleansers I’ve tried. It has some substance behind it and a nice thick feel. It lathers up a hell of alot as well and creates a nice thick, lather on my face as a cleanse. The scent is barely there but if you’re really sniffing you might notice a certain freshness about it.
I consider it my “I’m too lazy for a full clean” cleanser so it’s nice just to quickly use this to remove lighter makeup however waterproof mascara and the likes of course should be tackled with an oil based remover. The formula has a collagen foaming cleanser feel kinda slick yet hydrating. It really does give a rather nice deep clean! Likey!
Doesn’t dry my skin out either or leave it tight after use!
The novelty for me is definitely the foam…I dunno…something about the foam just gets me excited!
Sadly, this isn’t something Biore sells in the US however it can easily be purchased online in various small Asian shops or on E-bay for as little as $8-$12 bucks at the most. But you do have to deal with airmail and the likes to grab it, could prove a pain if you aren’t interested in tracking things down and prefer just heading to a store to grab some. Good news would be if you have a large Asian community in your area you can def get it in smaller beauty shops and the likes. Here in New York it’s easily enough to locate in Flushing for as little as $7 (what I paid for this one).
- Anyone who wears lighter makeup and needs a cleanser to quickly remove it all!
- Anyone who likes a novel cleanser (I find the novelty in the foam, the cute bottle, and the name!).
- Anyone who embraces a quick clean in the evenings (if your cleaning routine is pretty basic this will appeal).
- Anyone unwilling to do purchases online, deal with airmail, etc….(this isn’t available readily in drugstores, etc…).
Overall, Biore Marshmallow Whip Face Wash proves a great little purchase. I’ve been using it for..mmmm a year now in place of Airy Whip and I gotta admit I might just stick with it!
