FLIRT! Rock n Rebel Lipgloss Review, Swatches, Photos

Flirt! Cosmetics has a nifty little lipgloss that branced off from their latest fragrance, Rock n Rebel. Think Ed Hardy an you’ll pretty much have Flirt!’s Rock n Rebel Collection idea.

These little tubes are $12 each and available in two shades. I didn’t expect a whole lot from these but surprised was I….

Jump!

A super shiny sparkling lipgloss from Flirt! Cosmetics.

If you like your gloss with a good deal of punch, check these out. The formula is incredibly pigmented on these little guys and leaves behind full color drenched lips for a really dramatic effect.

The glosses are available in two shade selections, Rebel Rouge (crimson red) and Rockin’ Pink (bright sparkling pink), each with a sparkle finish. The formula ranges quite thick yet wears lightweight and feels comfortable and smooth on. It has a slightly citrus taste that I can’t really pinpoint an exact flavor on but it does remain subtle so it isn’t overwhelming. The gloss wears strong and long however it does have a knack for migrating so a good prep and prime is essential to keeping them on your lips and not around your lip area.

The tubes kinda tickle me as they have a tattoo style packaging reminiscent of Ed Hardy designs, granted if you can’t stand Ed Hardy you might not love the idea.

Didn’t love the price on these as they are $12 and come in a smaller tube. A little goes a long way since the formula is pigmented but for a budget brand I’d lower the price by $4-$5 to make it a bit more friendlier in terms of size.

The glosses does have a tendency to chase around my mouth so I definitely need to prep and prime prior to application otherwise it will migrate.

  • Anyone who likes a full color lip gloss (believe its pretty rare to get a gloss with this much pigment behind it).

  • Anyone with fine lines or less than smooth lips (it does migrate a fair but and will probably creep into fine lines so do be aware).
  • Anyone unwilling to dish out $12 on a small lipgloss size (the tube feels more sample size than full size).

Although $12 online at www.kohls.com I’m betting you can easily locate these in store on sale considering the post Holiday, Semi-Annual sales that every store is having at the moment. I liked the formula but just wished the price was a bit lower. If you’re looking for a bolder, more vibrant lip color, these should appeal.

Available at Kohl’s.
