Josie Maran Argan Oil 5 Piece Color Collection Review, Swatches, Photos
A week or two ago QVC had the Josie Maran Argan Oil 5 Piece Color Collection on sale. Sadly it’s now sold out but I thought I’d give you a quickie glance of the items included just in case it comes back in stock soon!
This isn’t a full review of the items. I’ll be breaking them up and reviewing each individually as I believe as Spring gets nearer you’ll probably be able to buy them this way anyway (and most are already available on QVC for purchase on their own). Needless to say the gloss, blush stick, and Argan Oil are already available for purchase on their own but those too will each get their own detailed review.
For now here’s the set, JUST IN CASE, it should make a reappearance on QVC as at least you’ll know what you are getting into!
The set includes:
- Josie Maran Organic Argan Oil with dropper
- Josie Maran Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30
- Josie Maran Full-Coverage Concealer
- Josie Maran Dual-Purpose Color Stick in Pink Peony
- Josie Maran Natural Volume Lip Gloss with Brush Applicator in Pink Peony
The Argan Oil is a fav of mine as it’s a slick oil that really eases dry skin. It’s not something I’d use in the day but this morning I used a bit to prep my face for my look below. It absorbs fairly easily and doesn’t feel terribly greasy on my skin and eases flakes and dull areas beautifully!
The tinted moisturizer is a fav of the lot. It has a nice creamy feel, great pigmentation, and an SPF 30. Concealer, sadly, was a bust. If you enjoy a more dense concealer such as the Balm Time Balm Concealer this might be something you adore however for something infused with Argan Oil I did expect a more emollient formula but I’ll tell you more about it a review soon!
The color stick is much like Tarte’s Color Sticks however feels a tad more dense. It leaves behind a rather nice hint of subtle color as does the gloss with this set which is a pale shade of pink that enhances my natural lip color.
Overall, the set was a killer deal as all the items included were full size. I paid $56 (don’t quote me it was $56 or $52) for all five pieces. I hope they get it back in stock again soon as it was a great deal.
I know some of you picked it up when I told you about it during the sale.
What did you think?
For my look below I used all the items in the set but included my own eyeliner and mascara, nothing else extra was added in.
