MAC Wonder Woman Mineralize Skinfinish Review, Swatches, Photos
If you’re a super big fan of MAC Mineralize Skinfinish you have to be incredibly excited about the two releasing with Wonder Woman simply due to their HUGE, “wonder” size. These are a whooping 0.70 oz versus the regular size of 0.35. That’s twice the size! Mind you, we probably don’t need that much MSF but I kinda dig the larger size…
Check ’em!
Part of the appeal for me was definitely the bigger size although the shades prove easily duped from past MSF or even from some mineral blushes you may already own from MAC but that’s not to say they aren’t lovely anyway.
The formula is pretty impressive here as they apply with alot less shimmer and frost compared to other MSF I own plus they act easily as a blush. Of course, many MSF do act well as a blush however they seem to have a considerably easier texture to work with that blends flawlessly and gives cheeks and face a warm glow!
Each palette is made up of three shades so you aren’t getting the traditional marblized powder that MSF’s normally sport. The middle shade can possibly be used to contour with while the two outer shades are best suited to highlight and add color. Personally I do none of these things correctly so I’m all about swirling around the entire palette, tapping, and brushing on for a beautiful glow.
Pink Power is a soft peach and pink shimmer with a beige bronze in the center. The effect is a light peachy pink bronze on my cheeks.
Golden Lariat is the darker of the two and contains a coral and gold beige shimmer and a deeper beige bronze. This is warmer than Pink Power and imparts a golden peach bronze on my face.
Wonder Woman never looked particularly bronze to me, she’s always been pretty fair of skin, but I’m thankful for these MSF anyway not only because they are a value at this size but also because they look lovely on my cheeks sans a ton of shimmer or too much of a frosty finish!
Quite nice and well worth the haul if you love MAC Mineralize Skinfinishes.
Are they coming home with you when the Wonder Woman Collection launches?
