I admit I love the name of the Physicians Formula Eye Candy Collection. Ahh! Cute. Right? I dunno, candy makes me happy. This is basically a selection of their Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Shadow Palettes in various new shades. Granted, some of the shades aren’t really “candy” like as per their name but one stands out above the rest in gorgeous shades of aqua, hello beautiful come home with the Muse won’t you?

The colors are made up of cool and warm shades to enhance your eye color. However, you know how I feel about color enhancing eyeshadow…just buy the one you like, forget about the enhancing, *wink*!

Each palette is $10.95 and will be part of the permanent Physicians Formula catalog. The Blue Eye Candy really stands out for me, isn’t it gorgeous? I’m also liking the looks of the Brown!

Will you haul?

They are at drugstores now!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’m a brown-eyed girl, and never really buy the palettes for brown eyes. I find that the ones for green/hazel look better! Break out of the box and buy what you damn well please 😀

Oh I agree completely, and like the hazel eye kits. But that makes sense, since hazel is “half brown” genetically.

I couldn’t get by wearing the colors from the blue or green sets. So they’re only about half wrong.

I honestly think that the green eyes one was a bit of a fail on Physicians Formula’s part. I mean, the colors are gorgeous and I’m sure there are some eye colors it’ll look great on, but seriously? Green eyes with aqua shadows? What were they thinking? Blue eyeshadows almost never look right next to green eyes, I know they look weird on me.

I NEVER go by this entire color enhancing deal that drugstores are embracing lately kendra ;-D! They always recommend purples for me, purples are nice on brown yes, sure, but I think the most flattering shade is brown itself. *shrug* buy whatever you think looks best imho! ;D

Oooh, the palette for hazel eyes is really pretty, I might have to get that one.

I have to agree with you, I hate how they tell you what colors you should buy. I dont like how the brown eyes kit has only browns and coppers and one purple shade. I would rather get that one thats “for blue eyes” =P
