Sephora by OPI Glee Collection OPI Glee Collection at Sephora

The Sephora by OPI Collection welcomes a new member to the nail family this Spring with the launch of the Glee OPI Nail Colour Collection that will be available exclusively at Sephora for a limited time!

Gleeks and nail girls alike, gather around.

Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products has teamed up with Sephora Americas to develop an exclusive collection of nail colours and prints for the ultimate pop culture phenomenon, Glee!

Don’t get mad, no one throw tomatoes at me, but I don’t technically watch Glee and honestly, I don’t think it could keep my interest very long…buncha students remaking all my favs from the 80’s including show tunes like Rocky Horror Picture Show? Naaa….sorry, can’t get on board, nothing like the original. It’s either Steve Perry and Tim Curry or it’s no one!

How ’bout you? Are you a Glee fan?

Well, you don’t have to be a fan to enjoy the Sephora by OPI Glee Collection, you just have to be a lover of great nail polish!

The collection will feature 10 new nail colors and three print nail design appliques inspired by the show’s cast, musical numbers, and comedic reference that Gleek fans know and love!

The collection will be available February 3rd exclusively at all major Sephora locations in the U.S and Canada including Sephora locations inside JCPenneys.

The launch actually happens to coincide with the special episode of Glee following the Super Bowl on FOX. Supposedly Glee cast members will be doing a Michael Jackson Thriller number….heard that one on Sirius 80’s this morning, see? I’m so in touch with the Glee news even though I don’t watch the show! Yay me!

You can also catch a glimpse of the Sephora by OPI Glee polish during the series upcoming Valentines Day episode on February 8th, which will feature the characters Mercedes (Amber Riley), Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), Brittany (Heather Morris), Santana (Naya Rivera) and Lauren Zizes (Ashley Fink) donning the colors.

The Sephora by OPI GLEE Collection Nail Colours will include individual full sized colours and a six-piece mini-set collection that will feature exclusive colours only available through purchase of the set. The Sephora by OPI GLEE Collection Chic Prints for Nails Design Appliqués are easy-to-apply, pre-cut strips that will be available in three different Glee-inspired designs.

The 7 new shades of nail color will be available indivdually ($9.50 each) or you can purchase a mini set with six shades, three of which are exclusive colors to the set ($22).

  • Slushied – Theres no need to duck from this opaque blue
  • Hell to the No – This purple shade might as well be considered liquid-pizzazz
  • Gleek Out – A lime, glittery green that will have everyone singing your praises
  • Diva-in-Training – Step aside Rachel Berry. The next solo is yours with this poppy pink hue
  • Who Let the Dorks Out? – All the cool kids arent doing it! Express your individuality and inner-Gleek with this statement peacock green
  • Miss Bossy Pants- A rich raspberry as show-stopping as Rachel herself
  • Mash-Up – Whether your style is sporty or goth, this pearlescent green gray pulls it all together for a pitch-perfect look
  • Celibacy Club (mini set exclusive)- Even if its only part of the show, express your inner angel with this glimmering, diamond top coat
  • Express Yourself to Yourself (mini set exclusive)- Even more entertaining than Sue Sylvester in a music video, this coral shimmer shade will have people talking
  • Sue Vs Shue (mini set exclusive) – Capturing the rivalry by this rebellious navy blue

Sephora by OPI Glee Collection Chic Prints for Nails Design Appliqués ($15) are easy-to-apply, precut strips of varying widths available in three different Glee-inspired designs. Appliqués last 2 days on either fingers or toes and provide a fast and fun way to update your look instantly.

  • Showstopper (gold stars)
  • Berry Special (navy polka dots)
  • One Hit Wonder (music notes)

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ugh…Glee…like American Idol, I don’t watch it and I don’t get it. However, I’m a sucker for shimmery blue and green nail polishes so…I’ll at least go to Sephora and swatch these.

Which of these is calling your name? Or are none?

    • the Muse

none for me sara, not a nail girl ;-D if it was color cosmetics, I’d be all over it!

  • Mara

I have to say that I was totally pressured into watching Glee, but now I’m hooked. These polishes look fun. I’ll probably have to get a couple of them. The appliques are cute too.

    • the Muse

not me not yet mara maybe one day I’ll rent the dvds but for now I kinda groan when it’s on ;-D

  • Stellar

Omg, wow. Well..then again, I shouldn’t be surprised when Justin Bieber is getting his own nail polish collection. Hmm…interesting colours and cute nail prints. I will have to stop by my Sephora to swatch and see.

  • Jenny

I’m not a fan of GLEE but I love these colors!! Will probably pick up the pinks and blues 🙂 PS. First time commenter!

  • Vanessa

I’m a fan of glee, but I find these shades disappointing. The only thing I see myself getting are the polka dot and gold star appliques.

  • Vijaya

I don’t like or dislike Glee, but I’m diggin’ the set… except for the silver. It’s very meh: nothing special. I have two or three silvers already.

  • Cj

I always thought it was the stupidest show ever but then my best friend pressured me into watching an episode with her… I was hooked after the first 5 minutes! I ran home and downloaded all the episodes I missed lol. I actually like it for the story lines more than the dumb songs, tho I have to say a few of em are pretty good 🙂

I’m definitely loving the nail colors and I can already tell Diva-in-Training and Slushied are going to be my favorites out of the bunch ;D

  • Gia

I’m not into Glee at all. I don’t get it. It is fancy karaoke. I can go to a local bar and see people sing the same songs but they are partly drunk so it’s funnier! But I like the mini set! Will grab that! I’m just a sucker for pretty nail colors!

    • the Muse

LOL gia exactly ;D plus they are ruining my childhood with remakes like don’t stop believin’ OMG my ears 🙂

  • meghan

The 2 pink shades and the green both look like previously existing sopi colors. bummer, I was excited!

  • Ellie

Glee started out so funny (and the songs/voices were excellent), but kind of failed after a little while. Now it’s just boring. BUT I really love these colors!! I want Slushied and Miss Bossy Pants 🙂

  • jamie

i feel getting these just for the name of the colors!!! lol dammmmn and i am not even a glee fan

  • allison1998

I love Glee, but I am not really feeling these polishes.

I feel like I have seen them before, although Hell to the No might have to come home with me based on name alone. I do like the Chic Prints, but not for $15.

  • Marina

I really liked Glee the first season. It had me hooked and engrosed! However, the second season has left me unimpressed. Is it sad that I’m only watching it now for Darren Criss? I love him! Of course,I knew him before Glee from his Starkid productions….

    • the Muse

marina I haven’t watched a single eppy ;D def need to catch the fever but can’t seem to do it for some reason!

  • Lissa

I love Glee but none of these colours are that interesting to me. Which is good I guess since we don’t have Sephora in the UK anymore.

  • Stefi

The polishes I could live without but the Chic Prints are adorable! I really should stop checking your blog when I’m on a shopping ban, it’s such torture!

  • Lucy

I don’t watch the show either. Not my kind of show. The polishes are pretty but nothing special. The price also went up 50 cents.

  • Laura

I thought I’d hate Glee too, but I told myself “one episode, one episode” and I got hooked too! It’s a lot better than I was expecting it to be.

I’m not a nail girl, either, so I think I’ll probably pass.

  • Catherine

I did not need to see this! There are already so many colors I want!
I really like Slushied and Miss Bossy Pants:)

  • Cj

    Hey Muse!
Just wanted to say that these are on Sephora’s website right now ;D!
