Urban Decay 15th Anniversary 24/7 Pencil Set Review, Swatches, Photos
As we head deeper into 2011 more and more Spring 2011 Collections will begin popping up. Mind you the season for Steals and Deals is kinda over in my opinion as that falls into the realms of the Holidays when brands gather together great palettes, products, etc…and bundle them up with incredible price tags.
But Urban Decay turns 15 this year, might mature for her age isn’t she? And to celebrate you’ll see some pretty nifty, limited edition launches this year to celebrate the brand’s big birthday!
The best deal of 2011? The new Urban Decay 15 Year Anniversary 24/7 Pencil Set for $92 which features 15 full size Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils! This is a $264 value and a mere $92 (a mere $6.10 per pencil) out of your pocket to own an incredible set of liners! I can’t think of a better deal this year and you probably won’t find one!
Check it!
I don’t think Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencils need any real introduction from me particularly because I’ve raved them and reviewed them several times on Musings prior to this however I will say they are some of the best liners I’ve used. Creamy, easy to smudge, long wearing, and available in a variety of shades are just a few reasons they rock our makeup world!
The Urban Decay 15 Year Anniversary 24/7 Pencil Set is an outstanding deal and essential for anyone new to 24/7 Eyeliners or let’s face it, if you’re a fan and own most of these pencils already, you’re still going to WANT this set. Hey, back ups welcome here.
The best news? The set includes six all-new shades and a sharpener, hey might as well get it all right?
You get brand new shades in:
- Asphyxia (pinky iridescent purple)
- Corrupt (dark metallic brown w/silver sparkle)
- Midnight Cowboy (beige w/gold sparkle)
- Perversion (blackest carbon black)
- Stray Dog (shimmery brown taupe)
- Uzi (gunmetal w/grey sparkles)
Plus old favs:
- Baked
- Binge
- Bourbon
- Electric
- Mildew
- Ransom
- Rockstar
- Stash
- Zero
Just a note Perversion is essential! Zero is a great shade however most of us own dozens of the shade already however Perversion truly is the blackest black! Really dramatic, really creamy, and just an amazing shade of black! Brilliant!
Shades swatched from top to bottom, left to right (Stray Dog, Corrupt, Bourbon, Baked, Midnight Cowboy, Stash, Mildew, Electric, Binge, Ransom, Asphyxia, Rockstar, Uzi, Zero, and Perversion.
I think the question that begs answering would be, “Do I need this?” Personally, as an Urban Decay fan, I’d say yes. First off, without a doubt, those new to 24/7 Eyeliners should definitely indulge. Grab it, get it, QUICK. It’s a great selection of color eyeliners at a price that can’t be beat!
Those who already own some of the shades, yes, I do think it’s worth a haul. For one thing you can always give the shades you already have away, or swap them, etc….it’s just nice to have the LE packaging, plus it’s really a steal.
So yeah, I really do think it’s worth a haul, the price is outstanding. It’s a no brainer purchase!
