Sorry its been a crazy kinda day. I have a ton of comments to get through and a good deal of fun posts upcoming shortly (just have to edit a few pics) so give me a sec to breath and I’ll have them up for you shortly.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Do anything fun?

A few new offerings from Avon have popped up for the Spring one of which will brighten up tired eyes, here’s a peek!

Avon MagiX Illuminator $7.99 (Available in 3 Shades)
Banish dark circles with a 10 hour formula that’s can be used around eyes and face!

Avon Healthy Makeup Cream-to-Powder Foundation SPF 15 ($9.99)
Tired, dry skin can get on board with this smooth, cream to powder formula that contains healthy, skin loving nutrients.

I think I’m done with cream to powder formulas myself but I’m liking the Avon MagiX Illuminator, curious minds if it’ll aid me in my quest to banish dark under eyes circles.

Both are available now from Avon.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’m using the MagiX Illuminator as I was curious if it actually compares to YSL’s Touche Eclat. I got it in fair and it is definitely FAIR. I do like it as it is nicely pigmented and creamy, but definitely no pink like the YSL one that I’ve tried. More of a yellow/neutral base in Avon’s which doesn’t hide the blue as well, in my opinion, but is great for right underneath my eyes.

I’ve been looking for a review on that Avon Healthy Make-up Cream to Powder everywhere! No one has one, not even makeupalley. 🙁 But I’ve heard good things about the liquid foundation on youtube. I’ve been using a liquid and minerals lately, but I used to use Max Factors cream2powder and I loved it. That was back when I had oiler skin and this healthy one sounds moisturizing so I wanted to give it a try.

I’ve tried the illuminator and its not that great imo…I would skip it.
