About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Wow, they got leftovers galore. Sephora debuted Siren of the Sea last spring, great kit!… The Royal Treatment you can get on BE.com for $21.. the lip gloss collection went on sale for $27 but that’s gone as of last week.

Siren is back YAY! I missed it the last go around and am happy to be able to purchase it without paying ebay prices!

  • Andrea

I used to use BE exclusively, and I dumped it all a few months ago…haven’t looked back. They do come out with pretty kits, but I’m really digging my pressed and cream products now…no temptation at all.

god yes lorraine don’t make me hungry ;-D I used to spend summers in Europe with my family, the amount of food pushed on you from Europeans is surreal depending on where you are ;-D France is guilty of having the most decadent pastries groan!

Kitties+lip gloss+cup cakes=? Three great tastes that are weird together. I picture cat hair in frosting & stuck to lips. o.O 😉 Still, the glosses are pretty.

definately picking up pout patisserie. do you know when they will start showing up in stores?

  • Maggie

These are all kits that were previously QVC exclusives. Both Royal Treatment and Pout Patisserie are not only on the BE website right now, but they’re on sale – Pout Patisserie is out of stock right now, but I bet it’ll be back if you want to keep your eyes peeled 😉 I’m excited for Siren of the Sea, though – I missed that one when it was on the Q and I really want to try the colors.

yup I remember maggie 😀 they actually have it on qvc still but the price is better at ulta and free shipping etc…;-D I didn’t see them on sale from be though, that’s even better yet!

BE actually launched Siren of the Sea at Sephora in Summer of 2009. It’s the exact same kit, but with a much nicer price point. This kit retailed at Sephora for $49 (I can’t believe that I paid that much for it!!).

I really like the siren of the sea kit. I like the ones where they include brushes in their kit. It’s how I have so many of their brushes. Loves it!
