Beauty Most Unusual: Chicken Poop for Your Lips

When I was a wee one my mum promised to put all sorts of nasty stuff on my nails to stop me from nibbling on them. Those threats never got me scared and to this day I still embrace the very disgusting habit of biting my nails to the nub.

Now I’ve never been threatened with Chicken Poop…

According to creator Jamie Faith Tabor Schmidt, her granddaddy told her if you put some chicken poops on your dry lips, you’ll be less inclined to lick ’em. Mmm I imagine that would be true.

Granted, there isn’t REALLY chicken poop in this lip balm as it’s made up of avocado oil, jojoba, sweet orange, lavender essential oil, bees wax, and Vitamin E…phew, no chicken poop listed but the name alone makes me curl up my lips in digust!

Maybe if my dear old mum threatened chicken poop on my nails I’d have stopped biting them.

Beauty Most Unusual?

Not really but damn that name makes me shudder!

My husband actually uses this stuff and loves it (I prefer to stick to my EOS lip balm). Personally, the name turns me off too much but he finds it hilarious. Proof once again that no matter how old men get they are still amused with anything related to poop, farts, or belching.

I read a review on it once, its actually quite good!:) too bad they don’t have it in S’pore. My current favorite lipbalm’s the Badger lavender orange..
I’m a nail biter too! My parents tried smacking me out of it when I was a kid but it didn’t work. I try detering myself from nibbling on them by painting nail polish now. It works!Except when i’m really stressed, then I’ll start bitting them again..>.<

I bought this because of the name. I would not rebuy because of the product. Too waxy not moist enought for me.

I have this product, a friend bought it for me, and I lovelovelove it, I really do. It had a bit of an offputting smell at first, but I grew used to it and actually like it now.

I bit my nails from the time I was about 5 until very recently (I’m 30,) and even the no bite never deterred me. It’s a nervous habit, at least for me. I eventually got that habit into remission but it’s really hard and I know what you mean by nubs. Imagine biting until it bleeds! Madness. My nails are beautiful now, but I still will put my teeth on them even to tap! I also carry a nail file with me at all times so I can smooth out any issues and not be tempted to chew them away.
